[skin concerns] [anti-aging] I'm about to turn 25 but a skincare newbie. What are the three things that make the biggest difference to your skin? Am I too young for retinol? Anyone research savvy that can chime in on the exfoliation debate? People with clarisonics are they worth the money?

Beauty Tips For Body Care
So I'm about to turn 25 and feel like I've been pretty lucky skin wise...either that or my short-sightedness means I can barely see mild imperfections so they haven't bothered me. However, I feel like I should step up now and try and take care of skin.My routine: I just wash my face with water when I shower and moisturise it afterwards (I know I'm a heaven right). I think the number 1 thing I need to change is remembering to take my makeup off at night (I don't even do that at the moment). However, on closer examination. My face is less radiant than most people's, I have quite a few blackheads and my pores are the size of craters on my noise and cheeks. How do I fix the dullness and shrink my pores? My other problem which I don't think is fixible is I have a bit of facial redness (not rosecea) probably due to my lupus...I tend to use quite heavy foundation otherwise the redness peaks through.I've heard exfoliation can fix dullness but some experts seem to think it can speed up the ageing process. On the other hand, others have theorised that this is why men's skin ages less fast because shaving mildly exfoliates it. My mum doesn't exfoliate and has amazing skin, but these two facts could just be chance and not correlated. How about a clarisonic for dullness? People who have them are they worth the money?A lot of my friends are getting wrinkles now. I am luckily still wrinkle free but should I be doing more to prevent them? A retinol product? I started trying to moisturise my neck as I had neglected that and my jaw and neck broke out with painful under the skin spots which I have never had before. I thought it was to do with a particularly nasty period but nope two weeks later and more bumps have appeared. Does this mean I should keep moisturiser away from my neck and jaw or try a different product? The only other time I've broken out is when I tried having a facial two years ago but they were lots of little spots rather than these few but huge under the skin spots.I would really appreciate advice/help :)
