[Product question] HELP!!! Dark skinned black guy looking for a sunscreen that doesn’t turn my face white/obviously discolored

I’ve been on epiduo for 1 month (for acne and hyperpigmentation) and my doctor told me that I need to use sunscreen with it. This is the first time I’ve used sunscreen so I’m lost. I went into CVS and bought a suncreen with SPF 30.My issue: my dark skin looks white when I put the smallest amount of sunscreen on my face in the morning. (I mix a small amount of sunscreen and ambi in the morning). It also gets into my beard and makes the skin under the hair look white.Question: does anyone know any sunscreens I can use that doesn’t make my skin look discolored white when I put it on? Why isn’t sunscreen like regular face lotion ie: why is it so white?
