Beauty Tips For Body Care
I'm a 20+ year veteran of using tretinoin and/or other retinoids. My derm taught me early on that I could apply to damp skin if I ever wanted to amplify the intensity. My question is which other topical acids are intensified when applied to damp skin?? Specifically, I'm most interested to know if Azelaic Acid shares this same characteristic?? But I would also like to learn whether applying l-ascorbic acid to damp skin is in any way deleterious i.e., reduces its efficacy or adhesion??ETA - for ease of discussion, I'd like to assume that my skin is damp/wet with tap water or possibly a toner of a similar pH.With all due respect, I'm really looking for definitive science-based input, not just anecdotal experience / speculation. :)
