[Skin Concerns] Epaderm is getting rid of my blackheads and clogged pores???

Beauty Tips For Body Care
Last friday I used some out of date SPF 50 before going on my walk it was pretty sunny and something in the sunscreen caused my skin to have an allergy reaction. It was my usual brand I just grabbed an old tube by mistake. The reaction caused me to develop eczema patches on my cheeks and under my eyes, it was very red, sore, dry and itchy. I do get eczema at times on my body (never on my face usually) so I had a bit tub of epaderm ointment and I started washing my face with this and smearing it over my face to moisturise. My face was really sensitive so I just used the epaderm and nothing else. After a couple of days, the redness and dryness improved and my skin started to return to normal but then I noticed that the skin on my nose, chin and forehead looked loads better too. There had been no eczema on those areas but I have always for 30 years struggled with blackheads, clogged pores and acne in those areas. I look after my skin, always wear sunscreen, I have used differin for years to help with acne and it has helped with active breakouts but my skin was still always clogged, bumpy and with loads of open pores and blackheads. My nose always looked really bad like it had loads of little scars all over it and I hated it.Now in just a few short , the majority of my clogged pores are gone, the skin on my nose is the smoothest its been since I was a kid and my forehead bumps are all gone. My pores look smaller also. All from nothing but Epaderm which is basically Paraffin! The sort of thing I avoided on my face for decades for fear it would break me out. Here are the ingredients:Cetomacrogol Emulsifying Wax BP. (contains Cetostearyl Alcohol and Macrogol Cetostearyl Ether 22)Yellow Soft Paraffin BP.Liquid Paraffin Ph. Eur.Why God, why did nobody tell me before that this ointment sitting in my drawer would be the unlikely answer to my prayers? Why have I been told for years not to moisturise my oily skin? On the downside, I am pretty sure my face is currently highly flammable!Anyway just posting this to see if I can get some answers (I'm guessing my moisture barrier was shot since I was 12) and to give a heads up to anyone else with persistent clogging, poor skin texture to try out a paraffin-based eczema cream to see it that helps.
