Beauty Tips For Body Care
I'm posting just in case it can help someone.I've had bad hormonal acne since I was about 15 years old (I'm now 31). My acne would consists of monthly deep, painful cysts that I would get anywhere on my face and also my scalp and upper back. These would take weeks to heal and would be really huge and painful.I've tried literally everything. I've been on Accutane for about 6 years on and off. My acne would always come back after a couple of months. I've tried antifungal solutions, I've tried every routine possible, I've tried going no products, I've tried dietary changes, I've tried changing my haircare products, filtered water, antibiotics, supplements and no supplements, LED therapy, facials, peels.. I don't even remember it all. But I've tried to desperately find a solution for the past 15 years, to no avail. And then my friend was diagnosed with PCOS after she had been trying for a baby and nothing was happening.Long story short, a doctor recommended her to take myo-inositol, 4g daily. This was about 6 months ago. Now, she doesn't have a baby on the way yet, but damn, after a couple of months since her diagnosis I noticed a clear change in her acne prone skin. So, since myo-inositol can't really be bad for you, I started taking it too. About three months ago. And I haven't had a cystic spot in two months. This is massive, because my skin hasn't been this good in 15 years. I've got no active spots. None. Nothing. Nowhere in my body.I've also noticed my periods shortened from about 5-6 days to 3 days to with very little bleeding compared to before. Also my boobs are slightly bigger. Overall, I'm freaking amazed.I take myo-inositol in powder form, I put 4 grams of it in my tea every morning. It doesn't taste like anything, just slightly sweet which is nice.Anyway, maybe this post can help someone else struggling with hormonal acne!
