[MISC] Moisturizing has really changed my life

Beauty Tips For Body Care
One of my least favorite textures in life is greasiness/oiliness. It kills me to get anything oily on my hands, and it's even worse when it's on my face. The thought of rubbing something like bacon on my face actually makes me feel nauseous! So of course, puberty and genetics granted me the gift of naturally oily skin. My face, particularly my nose and forehead, has always gotten so greasy throughout the day, and it's been a problem since the age of 12. I started washing my face in the shower as a teen, and while my skin felt clean and oil-free, my nose and forehead would quickly get really tight, dry, and flaky. My skin would then get super greasy and crusty within hours, which has been making the pores in those areas look huge and plugged with sebum. I also never thought to wash my face at night, so you can imagine how bad my skin has been.2020 has made me a depressed sack of beans, and my self-esteem has really been in the toilet. My greasy, cratered nose and forehead have really been on the forefront of my mind, so I decided to try something I've never considered doing. Like I mentioned earlier, I hate anything that feels greasy, and this includes lotion and moisturizers. The thought of putting something like lotion on my face always seemed counter-intuitive and horrible, so I just never tried it.Well, I've been washing my face twice a day now, and rubbing Nivea Men's Post-Shave Balm all over my face right after, and it's really changed my life. My face no longer gets dry, flaky, and itchy, which means it also no longer gets super greasy and crusty within hours. In fact, my skin feels so soft at the end of the day, with just a tiny fraction of the oil as usual. I never thought that putting lotion on my face would fix these problems, but it has. It's made me feel less depressed, and now I'm making a better effort for self-care in other areas of my life, like drinking more water, losing weight, and whatnot. For anyone who cringes at the thought of moisturizing your face, just do it! There's a good chance it could be a miracle if you do.TLDR: Moisturize!
