Even though it’s packed with chemical filters, I can slather under my eyes and on top of my eyelid without any irritation. When I’m at the beach or on the go, I don’t even need a mirror to apply it. It’s hydrating without being too greasy, and it stays put all day. I use other sunscreens on the rest of my face, but I will continue to purchase this as a dedicated eye sunscreen. I've gone through multiple tubes of this. It sometimes has a title that includes "sensitive eye innovation."Uriage Bariesun Fragrance-Free Cream SPF 50+Perhaps my second-favorite sunscreen of all time. I’m amazed at how well this sheers out and dries down. Because I’m confident in this sunscreen’s performance (and because it’s available from Amazon Prime), I use this as my everyday sunscreen.Skin Aqua Super Moisture Gel SPF 50+ (PA++++)I love how light this formulation is, but I prefer more hydrating sunscreens for daily use. I still like having this on hand because it’s perfect for re-applications (when thicker creams are less appealing). It was great to take to the beach and wear in hot, humid sunshine.La Roche Posay Shaka Fluid SPF 50+ (PPD 46)For the love of god, make sure you get the fragrance-free version. I adore this sunscreen, but the scent is almost unbearable. It smells like cheap hairspray. The texture and consistency are fairly similar to the Skin Aqua Gel above, but I’ve found that the Shaka Fluid leaves your face more matte. I like using this later in the day to roll back some of the lingering shininess from prior sunscreens.Biore Aqua Rich UV Watery Essence SPF 50+ (PA++++)I was a bit disappointed with this one. It was comfortable to wear, but I wasn’t wow-ed by it. On my skin at least, it looked very similar to the Uriage Bariesun from above. Even though it’s extremely mild, I’m a little wary of the fragrance here.Altruist SPF 30This is my favorite body sunscreen. It leaves my face looking greasy and ghostly, but it’s actually very flattering on my neck, shoulders and arms. Even though I have to ship this from Amazon UK to the US, it’s extremely cheap (I paid $34 total for four 200ml tubes!). If you do use this on your face, please be careful around your eyes. My eyes were watering so badly that my boss once pulled me aside and asked if everything was OK.EltaMD UV Physical SPF 41 (PA+++)I hated this sunscreen. It accentuated dry patches I didn’t even know I had and pilled in my stubble. I’m always blown away when people recommend this for dry, sensitive skin. If this weren't so drying, it might actually work well for me. It matches my undertones pretty well.COTZ Face Prime & Protect SPF 40 (PA++++)This is too thick and silicone-y for me to use comfortably. I don’t wear makeup, so the primer benefit is lost on me. If you use primers regularly, you might like adding this to your routine, but I don’t think this is a great everyday sunscreen.MDSolarSciences Mineral Creme SPF 50This might be my least favorite sunscreen. It has the same silicone-y texture of the COTZ sunscreen, but the cast is worse. The smell, texture and color of this product make me feel like I’m smearing butter all over my face. Every time I try to wear this, I end up doing my evening routine at like 4PM so that I can get this stuff off of me.Purito Comfy Water SPF 50+ (PA++++)This one wasn’t as invisible as online reviews had me believe. If you’re super careful while applying, you can make this look quite nice, but I just don’t think it’s worth the hassle. I’d much rather use their chemical formula (the Green Level Unscented). If I liked this more, I might have cared that it's basically copped out of the photo lol.La Roche Posay Hydrating Milk/Leche Hidratante SPF 50+ (PPD 27)This is my no-nonsense sunscreen for workouts or hikes. It doesn’t have the best aesthetics (despite what the label says, it does indeed leave marcas blancas.), but I trust the protection, and the tube is enormous.About My SkinSuper pale (if it leaves a cast on me, no one's safe.)Combination skin (used to be oily, but tretinoin can occasionally give me dry patches)Happy to answer more specific questions if anyone's considering buying one of these.
