tldr: OMEGA 3 SUPPLEMENTS.I've had acne for over 10 years, with it only getting worse and worse as time went on. First I was prescribed the classic benzoyl peroxide, then moved up to taking minocycline, and then retinoids right now.Starting benzoyl was so long ago that I dont quite remember what my initial experience was like, but it's still a part of my routine (or WAS a part, I haven't gotten any acne whatsoever these past couple days).Minocycline was a godsend. Nuked my acne immediately. However, I started having allergic reactions to it and had to stop. Acne came back and hit me like a truck.Retinoids worked a lot, but it seemed like there was always a certain amount of acne that would be on my face at any given time. When some disappeared, more would reappear somewhere else.A couple days ago my mom was talking about how I should eat some salmon (I don't eat seafood, never really been my thing). I remembered how we had these omega 3 supplements lying around and randomly decided to take one.LITERALLY THE NEXT DAY, I woke up and half my acne was gone. I'm now probably around a week in and I have not gotten a single new pimple or zit, with some cystic jawline acne subsiding big time. I feel amazing. Now all I have are a couple of scars that I hope retinoids can help me take care of.I highly recommend giving omega 3 supplements a try. Who knows, it could be what you need. After flying through countless skincare products, this is what solved it for me.Will update back in a couple days if my acne returned or if this truly is it. So far, I'm feeling so liberated.The supplement I'm taking is Webber's Naturals, 900mg one-per-day triple strength Omega-3 softgels, if anyone was wondering.
