Beauty Tips For Body Care
I know a few people in this sub are interested in buying cruelty-free, and this is pretty huge news! Garnier is an affordable brand that can be found all over the world, and for some, it's now the only cruelty-free brand that's easily accessible to them.Garnier is now truly cruelty-free, meaning that no animal testing is going on at any point, from ingredients to finished products. Their suppliers don't test on animals and neither do any third parties, anywhere around the world.Since I run Cruelty-Free Kitty (cruelty-free resource), I was on a call with Cruelty Free International and L'Oréal and I was able to ask them all my questions and gather the info right from the source. If you know about cruelty-free beauty, you know what it means for brands to be selling in China. To make a long story short, beauty brands can't sell in China and remain cruelty-free due to pre-market and post-market animal testing (there are updates regarding this and it might be changing soon). Garnier thankfully is NOT sold in China. They did sell a few products in China before 2017, but they have since pulled out.Now that they're cruelty-free and I can finally try and recommend their products, my question for r/SkincareAddiction is: Are there any skincare products from Garnier that you would recommend? Is their micellar water good?If you want more details about Garnier going cruelty-free, this is my article (mods please remove the link if this is not allowed): https://www.crueltyfreekitty.com/brands/garnier/
