Beauty Tips For Body Care
I have acne prone skin but things were going ok. Not great but not terrible. Mostly just little clogged pores. The thing is that my skin is dehydrated beyond belief. I was using Differin and acne didn’t clear up at all, I was just dry and irritated and my moisture barrier is shit. I stopped using differin and my derm prescribed aczone 7.5%. I was using that every morning for almost a month but cysts just kept popping up and then disappearing, only to pop up again. So I figured I’m just further irritating my barrier, I feel dry, raw, tight, red etc and this can’t be helping my acne. So I decided to focus on moisture barrier. Stopped the aczone and started using LRP cicaplast baume since soo many people rave about how amazing it is for barrier repair. It actually was going well at first. I loved it so much that I started using it morning and night, layering on top of another light moisturizer. After doing that for a little over a week I’ve never had worse acne in my life. I’m desperately trying to clear my skin up because I’m getting married in November and I’m just feeling depressed that when I use acne medication I get dehydrated and still break out, when I use thick moisturizers to repair my barrier, I break out even worse. I feel like I need to stop literally everything I’m doing now because I’m at a loss. Anyways, I can’t seem to find many reviews or people on Reddit who say the cicaplast baume caused acne, if anything it’s helped so many people. I was just wondering if anyone else broke out this badly from it (like red inflamed cysts EVERYWHERE). Trying to feel some hope that if I stop thing might calm down. Thanks!
