[Routine help] Is it rly ok to leave Benzoyl Peroxide overnight?

Questions: Is it okay to use it overnight? What acne gel do I use? Do I use this everyday? Do I have to use sunscreen and a cleanser too? In what order?Today I went to the dermatologist and got diagnosed with acne vulgaris and mild rosacea. She gave me a benzoyl peroxide wash, told me to shake it before use, apply it with a cotton round each evening, leave it overnight and wash off in the morning. She also told me to use 'some acne gel with it' I don't really know what product that is tho. Then I got sent out. So now I'm left rly confused. Is it okay to use it overnight? What acne gel do I use? Do I use this everyday? Do I have to use sunscreen and a cleanser too? Any help will be appreciated thank you.
