Beauty Tips For Body Care
I (F23) posted here about 2 years ago (here) and somehow my skin has gotten even worse.I've had acne and bad skin since I was a teenager and it had improved from 2017-2019, but in the summer of 2019 I severely damaged my moisture barrier (See the post linked above) and since then my skin seems to have not recovered. I've had some time periods where it seemed okay but then it just worse again. This is what my skin looks like right now. I don't necessarily have active acne but a lot of texture and scarring. What I'm not sure about is the patches on my cheeks that seem lighter/discoloured? They tend to get very dry as well. They only appeared about a month ago and I can't think of anything that may have caused it.https://preview.redd.it/5qmuv8dgvjf71.jpg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ee272896a62d5cc3114f8dafdf6f7784e7f0f294https://preview.redd.it/9wsrd8dgvjf71.jpg?width=1159&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b13a10dba6e4558e7e8536b2ef880306c8ffb313https://preview.redd.it/qr659cdgvjf71.jpg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=86c63943ea1471e12deeb1ad2c944a670485ca9cI've been keeping my routine very basic for the past couple of months in hopes that it would help:AM:Innisfree Green Tea Hydrating Cleansing Foam, Cosrx Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence, TO's Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5, Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion, Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery EssencePM:Innisfree Green Tea Hydrating Cleansing Foam, Cosrx Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence, TO's Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5, Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion mixed with TO's Rosehip Seed Oil, VaselineI haven't been wearing makeup over the past year (bc covid) but I do occasionally as I start going out again; if I wore makeup during the day, I'll start my PM routine with Kose Softymo Deep Cleansing Oil before using the foam cleanser.I've been thinking of dermaplaning at home/shaving my face, but I've been too scared to make things worse. Is there anything I'm doing wrong or anything I can do to improve my skin? Any tips/recommendations are appreciated ðŸ˜
