Beauty Tips For Body Care
So I [19/m] have pretty mild acne and skin problems that mainly consist of a lot of closed comedones (I think that's what they're called - they are small, acne-sized bumps that I can pop), and general redness and blemishes around my forehead and outer area of my face (meaning my temples and under my neck). The skin under my eyes and around my cheeks and nose is almost always spotless and smooth, save for some blackheads that I don't mind that much. It looks like this: http://imgur.com/a/CBTL2 [1]I've been following this routine for months and not really any changes have happened:AM:CeraVe Foaming Facial CleanserCeraVe AM Moisturizer with SPF 30PM:CeraVe Foaming Facial CleanserPaula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid ExfoliantCeraVe Moisturizing LotionEvery once in a while I will physically exfoliate with Queen Julene's Honey and Oatmeal Scrub, and use a mask, either Aztec Secret Healing Clay, or Queen Julene Mint Julep Masque. I used to use a 10% BP treatment, but it just dried my skin out. About a week ago, I tried not using any products on my skin to see if I was just drying it out of its natural oils. It looked a little better at first, but eventually all the closed pores showed up again and the redness returned. Does anyone have any product suggestions or routine changes I should try? I have been told that the BHA should exfoliate and get rid of the clogged pores, but it never seems to help. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
