Skin isn't dry at all with no SS on. Though it might be a bit dull, from benzoyl peroxide (see below). Some mild melasma on forehead (possibly age related, or maybe it's because of photosensitizing stuff I've used in the past). Some discoloration from old acne scars. I really need a reliable, good, affordable SS that doesn't break me out :/Have I seen a doctor: yes, acne has been successfully treated by a derm with adapalene and benzoyl peroxide (tactuo) in the past. Currently using 2% salicylic acid with 5% bp instead, successfully, with contact-only (is on for 20 minutes, then removed). I know the BP is oxidizing and contributes to the dullness, but I need it :/ . I use a vitamin C serum (avalon organics) in the a.m. (I know I should add an exfoliant other than the salicylic acid, thinking mandelic acid.) derm recommended the LRP.
