Beauty Tips For Body Care
For reference, the "normal" state of my skin for the past several months, and what I'm trying to get rid of:lots of CC's on foreheadsome smaller CC's on cheeks2-4 red pimples on cheeks/foreheadoccasional tiny whiteheads on my forehead/chinMy skin is naturally dry, but not dehydrated. Just lacking much natural oil.I first tried using a 5% mandelic acid, which made my skin worse than it's "normal" state (more CC's, more inflamed pimples), and extra dry, the whole month I used it. I cut back to using it 2x/week, and nothing improved. I suspected the SD alcohol might've been a problem for me.A month ago, I switched to a lactic acid, Silk Naturals 8% AHA toner. After a week or so, my skin seemed to be improving a lot, but this only lasted a few days, then my skin went back to it's "normal" state, where it's been since. I don't think it's irritating my skin, and I do notice my skin feeling a bit smoother, but it's just not fixing CC's or pimples.I'm looking at switching to either PC 8% AHA Gel or PC 2% BHA Liquid. My concern with the AHA is that it just won't work, as other AHA's haven't worked for me. But, I've never used a BHA, and I'm worried it might be too much for my slightly dry/sensitive skin.AM Routine:CeraVe Hydrating CleanserCerave Moisturizing LotionCerave in the tubMakeup w spfPM RoutineClinique Take the Day Off BalmCeraVe Hydrating CleanserSilk Naturals 8% AHA tonerMaracuja oil (eye area only)CeraVe Moisturizing LotionCeraVe in the tubVaseline if forehead is extra dry
