[Routine Help] SCA beginner here, I'm wanting to graduate from years of just cleanser and moisturizer. I have OK skin but I think it could still use some TLC, I'd love some feedback!

Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hi guys, I feel like I'm learning so much from this sub so fast! I just have a few routine questions related to dehydrated skin. My main concerns are rough texture, redness and greasiness. I'm pretty sure my forehead and nose area are dehydrated due to large pores, greasy feeling and rough texture. I just ordered the Skin effects 8% glycolic acid peel kit (for brightening and softening) along with Hadalabo lotion (to address dehydration). Should I integrate one before the other? Does the serum have to be accompanied by a moisturizer? Should I pat on Vaseline before I go to bed?I'm reluctant to give up cleansing in the morning because my cleanser is already so light (it doesn't tighten my skin at all) and I just want to have a fresh, grease free canvas for makeup in the morning, water alone doesn't seem to cut it.My routine:AM •Acure facial cleansing cream •Acure brightening facial scrub (every few days, reintegrated only a few weeks ago for texture on cheeks but looking for alternative) •Cerave AM facial moisturizing lotion (about to switch back to Acure day cream after months of trying to find a cheaper alternative and living off of body shop samples, this stuff doesn't sink in and the SPF didn't save me from a little redness this weekend)PM •Acure facial cleansing cream •Body Shop Aloe soothing night cream (may replace this with Acure day cream as well) •Mario Badescu cucumber tonic mask (only been doing this every few days for less than two weeks, should I avoid my forehead?)I just got a "skin mapping" done at Ulta and I refuse to believe that I need two facials a month for beautiful skin. The esthetician also refused to discuss or recommend any chemical exfoliants because "chemicals are bad." She did turn me on to clay masks (I love the brightening and smoothing effect), but I'm worried the mask I have may be exacerbating the dehydration. She also showed me the Mario Badescu AHA body soap for the keratosis pilaris on my arms so the visit wasn't a total loss (just one week in so results remain to be seen).Sorry I'm so needy :) Thanks for any help you might have to offer! I can post pics if necessary.
