I'm extremely frustrated right now so excuse me if this if rambly.I can differentiate between blackheads and sebaceous filaments on my nose. My cheeks, though, are dotted heavily with little dark colored dots when I look close up in the mirror. They are literally all over my cheek. I'm not sure if these were always here, since I've only focused on my skin to this much of a degree for the past 2 years. Is it possible to have sebaceous filaments all over my cheeks? As well, when I stretch my cheeks out, I can see little bumps all over which seem to have white stuff underneath. I've expressed these bumps before and they seem to always come back.I'm so frustrated and at my wits end. I'm a serial picker and seeing all these dots on my cheeks has triggered bigger breakouts from picking at them. I've used BHA's, AHA's, physical exfoliants, clay masks, sheet masks, benzoyl peroxide.I'd love to know if these dots I keep seeing are just sebaceous filaments. I think that would help me be more accepting towards them being on my face.Please help :(routine: AM: * cleanse with Aspara gel cleanser (https://apsaraskincare.com/productdetails/3/neem-herbal-facial-cleanser.aspx) * tone with ACV (60:40 acv to water) * moisturize with clinique moisture surge mask * apply prosacea gel if I feel like my face is flaring upPM: * wash with hemp seed oil or aspara cleanser again * PC BHA 2% * after waiting 10 minutes, apply clinique moisture surge * spot treatments (manuka honey or hydrocolloid bandage)I'm currently not using a sunscreen because all of the ones I've tried have wreaked havoc on my face. I'm trying to recover from the subsequent breakouts.Sorry for such a lengthy post. Any input is appreciated.EDIT*** when the dots on my cheek are expressed, white/yellowish stringy stuff comes out. this is a sure sign of sebaceous filaments, right?
