[Product Question] I just got the Fresh Rose Face Mask - it feels great but I feel wasteful washing it off, can I leave it on?

I just got this mask and it feels really nice and soothing on, and I find that on my super parched skin, it actually dries and disappears, so when I go to rinse my face as the directions say, I feel like I'm wasting the product down the sink as well as making my previous dry matte face all wet and goopy feeling again to get the mask off. Can I just leave it on and put my moisturizer and serums over it - like sort of treating it as a gel lotion of sorts? Sorry for the newbie question!!!
