Beauty Tips For Body Care
I've been on adapalene for a month now. My pores have gotten pretty large from it. It freaked me out at first, but I've read a lot and from most people that this happened to, they didn't use the retinoid long enough and they didn't moisturizer enough. So I'm hoping that my skin is just purging out the bad stuff.... it almost looks like blackheads, and at this point they are almost popping out of my skin.But, today, and yesterday, I noticed that my skin looks oily, but not in a way that's normal... each individual pore literally had oil spilling out of it. I'm starting to think that my skin is pretty damaged from the retinoid, but I'm not sure where to go from here. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do? Or what products to use? I'm sure this is reversible, I'm in my early 20's and my pores are naturally very small, and I've read that your pores are genetically determined and can't change in size. But now, I really want to focus on getting my healthy skin back!!I moisturize SO MUCH, I use 2 different moisturizers. CeraVe AM and Aveeno Daily Moisturizer in the morning, and at night I'll use CeraVe PM, Aveeno Daily Moisturizer, and then top it off with Aquaphor.If anyone has any insight, please let me know. I'm almost ready to call my dermatologist, because I'm pretty sure that this just isn't normal.Thanks!Edit: I also use CeraVe normal to dry hydrating face wash morning and night.
