Tried Makeup Artist's Choice Lactic Acid 40% Peel (the gentlest they have) last night. Followed the instructions. My skin turned slightly red and broke out in bumps along cheekbones, but more alarmingly, I had insomnia so got up at 4am, and when I went into the bathroom, I had a huge, I'm talking quarter-sized, white bump on my chin. When I finally got up this morning, all side effects are gone, so I think I will try it again, but I'm also mildly terrified. Are those reactions normal? And for those of you who have tried it, how long did it take you to see results?
