[Product Question] Mud masks dry my skin out so badly! Do I have other options or should I just forget about them all-together?

I’ve never really been able to use mask products because they end up drying my skin out reeeeally badly. I’ve tried the dead sea mask that everyone raves about and while immediately afterwards my face looked INCREDIBLE, for the following 3 days my entire face was dry, red & uncomfortable (almost like a reaction). Can anyone suggest another mud mask for skin that’s extremely sensitive and prone to getting chapped? Thanks in advance!
