[product question] [routine help] Taking diflucan for yeast/fungal acne- has anyone taken & saw improvement and are probiotics ok?

Beauty Tips For Body Care
I've had acne on my back/shoulders for YEARS (gah) and on my face as well. I went to the derm a couple of months ago to finally address the situation and was prescribed doxy and differin. Saw some progress with my face but nothing with my back. The doctor waited to months before switching me to monocycline and epiduo which was GREAT for my face however did not improve my back at all which made no sense to me.I kept stumbling on websites that mentioned yeast/fungal acne and while the description resonated with my back, it didn't dawn on me that the acne wasn't clearing up with the meds because it was a yeast overgrowth. SMDH.SO, I got a weird rash on my chest (I never get rashes/ allergic reactions tbh) and the derm sampled it and plot twist the rash and the "acne" was because of this. It sounds weird but I've never been happier to have a rash- silver lining, but it led the doctor to finally addressing my back. YASSSSSS.So here's my question: He prescribed diflucan and I just took my first dose today. If anyone else has taken diflucan, how long did it take to clear up the Pityrosporum Folliculitis? My other question has to do with probiotics. So despite the fact that I had the yeast acne on my back wayyyy before I was prescribed the oral antibiotics, I read that long term antibiotic use contributes to yeast overgrowth (shoutout to my dr not mentioning this) and many suggest probiotics. Can I start taking probiotics with the diflucan or should I wait until that treatment is done? I understand that diflucan is anti fungal (not bacterial) however I don't want to screw up the diflucan considering it's been YEARS. Okay I'm going to finish ranting. Thanks so much and PSA why don't more people talk about fungal acne?!
