[Acne] I keep unintentionally washing/scrubbing away whiteheads! Need advice.

I gently wash my face, only using my hands, and i still manage to wash away the delicate whiteheads. This leads to bleeding and inflammation which gets annoying. Any tips on aftercare at least? I know I really just need to try and be more gentle when washing my face...
