[Product question] Has anyone tried bleaching their skin with facial hair bleach?

My friend (actually my friend, lol, not me) has darker skin and wanted to bleach her faint mustache. When she did, she had a patch of lighter skin where she bleached it.I have some skin discoloration in some areas. Would that bleach help? I figure if it's safe enough for the face it's safe for your skin.
