[Routine help] Will a sunscreen keep its effectiveness being applied on top of an oil (moisturizer)?

I've started using rose hip oil as my day and night time moisturizer. I'm obsessed with how it's making my skin look and feel, but I'm worried my sunscreen will be less effective in the mornings?Any insight on this would be appreciated. I use the neutrogena oil free age shield face sunscreen in case that matters.
