Beauty Tips For Body Care
http://imgur.com/gallery/bJWce/comment/1023998173I'm sharing this in hopes that you don't give up on finding a skincare routine that works for you. My skin is nowhere near perfect, and with my scarring, freckles, eczema and sensitive skin, it will never be.Current Routine: Vitamins/Mineral Supplements: *I added Cold-Pressed Evening Primrose Oil Softgels (1-2x a day, depending on skin's looks). These are in addition to my probiotic, multivitamin, and fish oil.Routine AM: *Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water - swipe over face with cotton ball, then rinse -- changed from DHC Oil Cleanser which made the biggest difference in my breakouts *Thayers Alcohol Free Rose Petal Witch Hazel *Vanicream Moisturizer in the tub *Mary Kay Day Solution w/SPF 25PM Routine: Image Skincare Salicylic Gel Cleanser *Image Skincare Salicylic Acid Clarifying Toner w/ cotton ball *or *Image Skincare Retinol-A Creme *Vanicream MoisturizerI also try my best to not pick or touch my face. I believe that my breakouts were, indeed, caused mostly by hormonal fluctuations and a certain product I eliminated (looking at you, DHC oil cleanser) and not entirely by picking/touching my face. This is so difficult for me, since I do have skin picking disorder and OCD. I have been seeing a therapist for these issues for well over a year, and this is the best my skin has looked since I started therapy.I'm fairly new at this formal routine, but please let me know if you have any questions. Also I am looking for a good (not too expensive) AHA to use with my routine, so suggestions are welcome. I'm thinking something with mandelic acid might be best for my sensitive skin. And thank you to everyone at /r/SkincareAddiction and /r/CompulsiveSkinPicking for being so knowledgeable and supportive.
