Beauty Tips For Body Care
I am 21[F] now and have had increasingly worsening rosacea for about 4 years. I didn't officially find out until last year when I finally decided to ask my doctor about it. I asked him about any type of medication that I could get to help it (I was getting married last year which was why I finally asked about it) and he told me that there is really nothing that I can do except to try and avoid the things that trigger it, and that it is something I'll have to deal with for the rest of my life, so that I'm best to just get used to it. It is a non stop problem but when my face really flares up (which happens at least 5 times a day and can last for hours), my face gets extremely red (like a radish), hot, itchy, swollen, and a bit of a burning sensation, on top of my eyes getting very irritated, watery and itchy as well. My skin is pretty oily, but also very dry and patchy at the same time (not sure if that makes sense). I can't wear makeup at all, as it causes me to flare up very bad and any type of foundation(even bb cream and makeups meant for sensitive skins) turn into itchy flakes. I'm also worried it might be affecting my nose more as well. Layers of skin on it are starting to get a bit hard like callous on my nose.I'm not exactly someone that cares too much about what they look but not only does it make me extremely self conscious but it is also quite uncomfortable feeling. Is there anything I can do to help my skin? There has to be something I'm missing out on that can make this easier for me. I don't often use anything on my face since it's so sensitive, except for when washing it and I use a moisturizing cream meant for people with skin conditions and extra sensitive skin.
