[Skin Concerns] Why doesn't increasing cell turnover make you age faster?

Increasing cell turnover is seen as a positive thing. But wouldn't that ultimately make your skin age faster at the end? Doesn't aging happen because the replication of DNA isn't perfect? and cells have a limited number of times that they can replicate? So if you speed up the turnover rate, wouldn't that result in overall faster aging over a long period of time?
