[Product Question] Has anyone used hyaluronic acid in places with low humidity?

Recently moved to a location with very low humidity (~30% in the summer, and ~10% in the winter). There is some controversy/uncertainty about whether HA will pull water from your own skin when it has no moisture to pull from the surrounding air. Anyone experience this at all?
