Beauty Tips For Body Care
I am a picker. Not just my face but also my hands. At any given moment my cuticles look like they have been through a meat grinder. For this reason, I have a giant tub and several tubes of aquaphor. HOWEVER, I have never used it on my face.I recently started using differin after having a truly brutal period breakout (hadn't had a period in 8 months so the hormones came with a vengeance) that resulted in a VERY painful blind zit between my eyes and one on my chin. Nothing would bring them to the surface. Lancing did not work. I was in tears in front of my bathroom mirror because I was destroying my face and the things just kept hurting more every day.Even after two weeks they wouldn't come to a head, but my skin started to get dry and angry, making the breakout look even worse and almost impossible to cover with makeup. Desperate, last night I warmed up a dime sized amount of aquaphor and slathered it over my normal moisturizer.Y'all. I woke up this morning and for the first time in weeks it looks like my skin was actually starting to HEAL. The worst zit on my skin has flattened considerably and no longer pulses with pain. I'm astonished. And no new breakouts!!! Is this magic???Here is my routine (for an oily breakout prone skin type):AM: - OCM with lavender cleansing oil from leaf seed berry on etsy - tone with witch hazel - BP spot treatment then wait to dry - cerave pmPM: - OCM with lavender cleansing oil from leafseed berry on etsy - tone with witch hazel - wait for face to dry - differin - wait to dry - cerave pm - aquaphor
