Beauty Tips For Body Care
I used to have oily skin but with no whiteheads and pimples. I was religiously cleansing my face with a double cleanse, toner, BHA daily lotion and moisturiser all from Kiehls except for the first cleanse which was a biore aqua watery gel make up remover.Earlier this year, I started getting clogged pores and bumps on my forehead and it progressively got worse throughout this whole year. I've tried many different products to solve it but I realised that I started getting painful pimples (pastules) especially when I use products with alcohol and fragrance. And I'm still getting these closed comedones/whiteheads!!! So I found out my skin is actually sensitive as well as dehydrated which might have led to oily skin and more clogged pores. I'm not sure whether my small bumps are even due to irritation or clogged pores anymore.I have been constantly changing my products but I do test it out for at least two weeks to one month before I conclude it's not working. Going back to my previous routine also does not work for me? It could be my skin growing older and it has a slower cell turnover rate. :///Here is my current routine:AM: Fresh soy gel cleanser Kiehls calendula alcohol free toner The ordinary hyaluronic acid + vitamin B5 serum Dr Jart ceramidin cream (only started a few days ago, its too oily for day use I feel so if you have any sensitive skin moisturiser that is hydrating and not oily, please send it my way and I'll forever be thankful)PM: (same routine but with make up remover and BHA)Biore Aqua Watery Gel Make up remover Fresh soy gel cleanser Kiehls calendula alcohol free toner Paula Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA lotion (just started this Two weeks ago) The ordinary hyaluronic acid + vitamin B5 serum Dr Jart ceramidin creamI also use origins charcoal mask once/twice a week.I live in Singapore, it's super hot and humid. I'm also in air con all day due to work.To be honest, I'm really stuck I just want to go back to my original clear skin so if anyone has any advice I would love to hear. Thank you!TLDR: any recommendations/advice for sensitive/dehydrated/oily/acne skin, please do share!
