[Acne] What’s the deal with makeup?

Hi guys. I’ve been diagnosed with demodex three days ago and I already started my treatment. During the conversation with my doc I asked her if I can use makeup, and she said “preferably not”. Which brought my question: why not, exactly? I got that it’s mostly because of contagious factor: I can spread demodex all over my makeup and on my brushes and on my face and it’s like a vicious circle. But if I would use only sponges, never dab twice, never use the same sponges again and never have a contact with my makeup directly so would it be fine then? I ask because I am really curious about that. I mean, I know people with acne use makeup and there are like “acne fighting makeup” with the acne fighting ingredients. Then why people with demodex can not? Don’t get me wrong, I personally don’t need to use makeup every day, I can go to my grocery store with no makeup, I am fine. But the thing is that I like makeup. I like spending time doing makeup and kind of relaxing. And I like to go out sometimes with my friend and have some fun, aren’t we all like to go out and just live our lives you know? So, back to my question, are there some of you who have demodex and use makeup? Have you experienced any bad things after? Or maybe you use some acne fighting makeup with demodex?Thank you for your answers, I really appreciate it!
