Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hi everyone! I am EXTREMELY new to this whole skincare thing. I’ve been having trouble with my foundation (aka I look like a crusty bag of flour) and recently a lovely group of Reddit angels told me that it was probably my skincare routine and suggested this sub. From lurking I think maybe my moisture barrier is gone but I just learned what that was about 12 hours ago so I might just be saying things. I’m not good at subject transitions so here is my routine.Primer: UD Optical Illusion complexion primer (I love it honestly. It does it’s best with what it’s given) Foundation: A mix of two- Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen WOW and L’Oréal Paris Infallible Pro-GlowMoving on to skincare because that’s why I’m hereFace wash (in the shower. My life is a mess so this is at different times and varying frequencies): Philosophy Exfoliating face scrub To remove makeup or if my skin is feeling a little funky and gunky: Garnier Micellar waterFor the moisturizers... Morning: Mario Badescu Cellufirm drops then Mario Badescu spf 15 Collagen Moisturizer Night: the same Cellufirm drops with Tarte Maracuja oil Right before makeup: UD Rehab Makeup Prep Hot Springs Hydrating GelThese are the best combinations of things I have found, however it’s still not GREAT. CC definitely W!A little but more about my skin. It feels dry especially in my T-zone. Honesty, from my forehead to in between my eyebrows, down the bridge of my nose, all all across my upper lip all feels ROUGH. Like a sandpaper type feel. I get these bumps frequently (I learned also about 12 hours ago that they are called comedones... comedomes?... shit) on my chin and on my hairline pretty bad.Subject transitions. I mentioned that. Thanks for your help!TLDR: I am a swamp goblin who sucks at skincare. Best tips for dry/dehydrated skin plz :)
