Beauty Tips For Body Care
I've just recently been introduced to the whole skin care area. Everything started two months ago when I was researching these little bumps I get on my forehead. As I was reading the simple skin care science article on fungal acne ( u/sssfc ), I found out that the same fungi that gives you fungal acne can give you seborrheic dermatitis on your scalp. And I was like, wait a minute, I've actually been diagnosed 8 years ago with this. I went to the dermatologist for my shitload of dandurf and she said that it was seborrheic dermatitis. I was prescribed a drugstore shampoo, single bottle (I don't remember the name). The derm said I could only use it for a month, otherwise it would damage my hair. And it did. I was dandurf free after a month, but people were asking me if I dyed my hair blonde. After that month I went to the derm again and she said that I should switch to a simple shampoo, smth with less chemicals. And I did, but the dandurf returned. And I've tried like 5 different shampoos, from the most simple herbal shampoos to the most expensive. Nothing worked. And I really don't know how I found out about Yves Rocher Anti Dandurf shampoo, but OMG it worked. Since 7 years ago, I used only this shampoo and I'm dandurf free. Five or six times I've been obliged to use other shampoos (vacations when I forgot it at home, etc) and the dandurf returned, but as soon as I returned to my shampoo at home, it was okay. Here's a link: https://www.yves-rocher.co.uk/control/anti-recurrence-dandruff-shampoo/Here are the ingredients: AQUA/WATER, AMMONIUM LAURYL SULFATE, COCAMIDOPROPYL BETAINE, SALICYLIC ACID, PUNICA GRANATUM EXTRACT(POMEGRANATE BARK EXTRACT), BUTYLENE GLYCOL, DECYL GLUCOSIDE, PIROCTONE OLAMINE, PARFUM, LAURYL GLUCOSIDE, PANTHENOL, GUAR HYDROXY PROPYLTRIMONIUM, CHLORIDEPOLYQUATERNIUM-10, CITRIC ACID, SODIUM HYDROXIDE, LIMONENE, PHENOXYETHANOL, ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN, 2779V0My money is on the salicylic acid, because 3 years ago it had another herbal extract instead of the pomegranate bark, and it worked just as well after the change. So if you don't find it, you could try something else with SA.I hope it helps some of the people with the same problem.TL;DR: Lots of dandurf, been diagnosed with seborrheic dermatitis on my scalp. The only shampoo that did help was Yves Rocher Anti Dandurf.
