Beauty Tips For Body Care
Just wanted to put this out there to see if anyone would be interested in joining me. Dairy and sugar are often found to be culprits in our skin issue adventures (though of course I know that's not always the case. I struggle with hormonal cystic acne myself so I get it) so I thought I would experiment to see how giving up dairy and sugar for a month affect not only the appearance of my skin, but also my overall health.Perhaps we can check in weekly to see how things are going, report changes, complain about the sugar withdrawal, etc.Let me know all of your thoughts, comments, and criticisms!!And for anyone that is interested, my skin care routine is as follows:AM:cleanse: CeraVe foaming cleansermoisturize/sunscreen: CeraVe AM moisturizer SPF 30apply makeupPM:Remove makeup: Clinique take the day off balm or Ponds cold cream and a wet microfiber cloth.Cleanse: CeraVe foaming cleanserApply Adapalene Gel and wait about 10 minutesMoisturize: CeraVe moisturizer, with a layer of vaseline on topFor acne spot treatment: either a hydrocolloid bandage over an already popping pimple, or a dap of sulfur mask.I also take Spironolactone 100mg for hormonal acne.I also use a toothpaste without SLS (Pronamel Sensodyne) because I found SLS to also be a culprit in some of my breakouts.
