Hi! So I just got my prescription for Yaz yesterday (yay) and I’m a little confused. My doctor told me to start the Sunday after my next period. I just ended my period on the 15th, so can I start the 22nd? I’m a little stuck because she gave me 3 months worth, and I will have to go back in for a check up before she gives me another prescription, but if I start the 22nd, I’m short a week of pills before I go back in, but if I start the Sunday after my period, I have 2 weeks extra. My mom told me I can just go ahead and start the 22nd since I ended my period recently. My next period is predicted December 6th so I wouldn’t start the pills until December 13th.All in all I’m confused a little, and I know many of you may take birth control for acne like me so and guidance is helpful since I haven’t been on BC before.Thank you!
