Word of warning to others with hormonal acne out there I guess. It took me over a year for Spironolactone to seriously clear my skin, I barely got cysts anymore until this mishap. My skin looks loads better than before I got on Spiro so it’s not the end of the world and I know it’ll go away eventually, but I’m just feeling a little pissed off at myself for forgetting to take it and also kind of stressing whether this means I’ll be chained to Spiro for the rest of my life.Any tips to sooth my giant cysts would be very helpful! And I hope no one makes the same mistake as me, I literally just bought a weekly pill container to help me remember moving forwards whether I took it or not 😭
