I’ve heard conflicting info on this procedure and whether it’s good for skin that’s scarred by cystic acne. I’ve read it damages skin and underlying tissue, etc etc. I think perhaps it’s the ability to do it at home with cheap kits that makes it sketchier, but what if you’re going to a top of the line Derm?I made an appointment with a new, highly recommended derm (5 stars on healthgrades etc) on the phone today and the person at the desk said they often do microneedling for acne scars and I’m wondering if anyone has had the treatment done by a professional and had good results. I believe she has many alternative methods but I’ve always been curious about this one.Cheers, and thanks for the help!
