I was surfing this subreddit for some info on eye lines yesterday, and the general advice seems to be that you treat eye lines with vitamin C and retinoids. However, when you look at info about using retinoids around your eye area, you discover that they're dangerous. If you use the strongest retinoids around your eyes, you risk damaging your meibomian glands. And it looks like all retinoids have the same effect, it just gets weaker the weaker the retinoid is.So my question is: what are you supposed to do? Do you use a much weaker retinoid around your eyes that in the rest of your face? Do you keep your eye area away from retinoids altogether (even from very weak ones)?
