[Skin Concern] My Skin Makes Me Sad - Seeking new routine advice for rosacea and oily skin with large pores
Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hi thereI've been browsing old posts about rosacea, and was hoping for some feedback on routine ideas to help my skin.Pictures: https://m.imgur.com/a/6ivrPIt looks oily and dirty and gross and it's making me sad. I had a baby in January and I hate pictures of myself with him and hate looking in the mirror because his cute little perfect skin makes me feel like mine is so, so awful.About 2yrs ago rosacea appeared in a patch on my cheek. I saw a derm who said "antibiotics for life or laser treatments" and that felt ridiculously extreme to me so I left it. It got worse.Right now I've had success just applying kids zinc based sunscreen to the area twice daily - it has helped reduce the area size and lessened bumps. Otherwise I only use lukewarm water and a generic face cloth to wipe my face at night. I don't wear makeup except some concealer for the rosacea patch.I'm interested in cleaning up my face with a fairly simple (maybe 2 or 3 product in the end) routine. From my post research, I'm interested in getting-evening primrose oil (to put on at night? I think)-Cerave hydrating cleaner (to clean the dirty looking pores and not flare up my rosacea hopefully?) or Neutrogena ultra gentle creamy cleanser-garnier micellar water (not sure if this is instead of a cleanser)-some sort of BHA product for cleansing (do i use different things for morning and night?)-some kind of spf sunscreen that preferably doesn't leave gross white patches because it's zinc based - I was going to check out Spf aveeno and Neutrogena mineralAny suggestions or corrections would be greatly appreciated. I live in Ontario.

[Sun Care] even if you have to ask your neighbor or a stranger at the water park to spray some on (making it less awkward) WEAR SUNSCREEN. It's better than getting burned

I've tried so many things to fix my chin [acne] (10+ yrs) and would love some help with a routine.
Beauty Tips For Body Care
I've had acne since my teens. I mostly break out around my face, especially near the sides of my mouth and chin. Occasionally on my neck as well. When I was on birth control, my skin was perfect. I didn't break out and my tone was even, not red. Unfortunately, I can't be on birth control due to migraines. I had to stop spironolactone and nothing from any dermatologist has ever worked for me, even though I am consistent in my routine.I feel upset about my skin and can't leave the house without foundation because I am so embarrassed.I've tried a number of things, but nothing so far has made a significant difference. Some things I've tried include: -cutting out dairy completely -changing products -cleaning pillows regularly -using toothpaste without SLS -borage oil (still trying)I'm curious if any vitamins could cause severe acne or how I can determine if it is a hormone issue. When I did Keto, my skin was much worse, I'm not sure if this will help in diagnosing the problem.I'm not sure if my skin is oily or dry. Usually after washing, it feels tight, so I think I may have dry skin. In the mornings, however, it feels greasy. My routine so far is as follows: AM Cetaphil daily facial cleanser CeraVe AM moisturizing facial lotion (Estée Lauder double wear foundation)PM Estée Lauder eye makeup remover Estée Lauder perfectly clean (cleanser/toner/makeup remover) Cetaphil facial cleanser (2x with EcoTools face brush) CeraVe PM moisturizer 10% benzoyl peroxide gelThanks in advance for any suggestions. This thread gives me hope. :)TL;DR acne since teens, dermatology not helping, chin acne; help with routine?

[Anti-Aging] What would you want from a guide?
Beauty Tips For Body Care
If there were to be a guide/FAQ/introduction to anti-aging skincare, what would you like to see?I'm thinking...sunscreen and preventionantioxidants - why and which have the most researchvitamin c, niacinamide, and n-acetyl glucosamine definitelyretinol and retinoidsPeptides: firming and collagen-inducing.DMAEMaybe overview of/links to more serious procedures? Peels, injections, lasers, etc. But also people should probably talk to an esthetician or aesthetic dermatologist about that, not Reddit. When to start using? When collagen production begins to slow down, etc.r/30PlusSkinCare is a great place, but their information is scattered.
