[Review] Aquaphor as a bedtime moisturizer. (Tretinoin users, I am looking at you!) Praise be the slug life.

Beauty Tips For Body Care
Okay so I know this isn't a relatively new concept, Aquaphor/Vaseline as your last step heavy duty moisturizer has been mentioned in this sub before, more so in older posts - but oh my god, guys.I bought Aquaphor quite a while ago but I have been massively too stubborn to want to slap on a layer of this before going to bed because I was worried about it getting in my hair, pillow cases, finding it too thick and uncomfortable, etc. Plus it's been unbearably hot in SoCal until recently but now that fall has caught on here, I tried this last night.A little background:I own CeraVe in the tub, I've tried and used Vanicream for years when I was younger, and I have to say - the only thing that compares to the results I've gotten is either slathering multiple (like 4) layers of Vanicream (which takes a long ass time to rub in I'll tell you that much) or sleeping in a thick as duck, sticky, vitamin e oil.Aquaphor vs Vaseline:I picked Aquaphor instead of Vaseline because it contained added beneficial ingredients such as:LanolinBisabololPanthenolGlycerinLanolin is a 2 on cosdna for comedogenic tendencies, so patch test first. Results: My PIE looked FAR less red and irritated, my skin is smooth and moisturized than it has been in a very long time, not a hint of any dry patches in sight. No peelies either! Bonus results if you skin is still slightly wet. Seriously, the reduction in the appearance of my PIE is what amazed me the most. Conclusion: Do not underestimate the importance of an occlusive. All hail the slug life.
