[Review] Overt's Hyaluronic Acid Serum, full and in-depth (with bonus pics).

Beauty Tips For Body Care
This review is for Overt's The Hydrator SerumI’ve been meaning to write this review for the past week and only got around to it today - I know some of you have wanted to hear about the Vitamin C serum too, but I will cover that in a separate, later review.I have always struggled with acne and dehydrated skin- it doesn’t help that recently I've spent a decent amount of time outside and in the sun.I wanted to find a way that I could maintain healthy and moisturized skin year round without worrying about fragrances, alcohol or random junk that are all hype. I also suffer from eczema which means I have to be super careful of what I put on my skin or I risk irritating it.look it matches the sky----For reference my routine is as follows:AM:CeraVe Moisturizing Face WashOvert Skincare - The Brightener (separate review coming soon)CeraVe Daily Moisturizing LotionBiore Aqua Rich SunscreenPM:CeraVe Moisturizing Face WashOvert Skincare The HydratorCeraVe Daily Moisturizing LotionTwice a week Paula’s Choice BHA Liquid Exfoliator---I am now on my second bottle of The Hydrator. I’ve been using it now for some months now, just a few drops at night before layering on my CeraVe lotion. Before the Overt Serum I had tried other Hyaluronic Acid serums (like Skinceuticals H.A Intensifier, The Ordinary’s version, Kiehls Vital Skin-Stregthening Hyaluronic acid serum, etc), but they just weren’t as effective. They left my skin feeling sticky and the serums didn’t seem to absorb properly into my skin. Essentially, I've tried loads of products, and finally found one that worked. When I saw Overt’s Hydrator serum I wanted to try it. I knew that in addition to the Hyaluronic Acid it contained Aloe Vera, Vitamin E, Green Tea and Jojoba Oil. I am still learning about skincare but these ingredients seem to be making a huge difference to my skin.I also like supporting a brand with a cause, and since Overt gives money to charity, it just vibed with me.the action shotSome details about the serum:It comes packaged in a 30mL glass bottle with a color coordinated dropper. As far as I understand from their sustainability page, all of the packaging can be recycled. It has no fragrance and absorbs quickly which allows me to layer on my moisturizer shortly after putting it onI honestly wake up with such plump and hydrated skin, I am on my second bottle, and will soon be ordering my third. It does what it says on the bottle, it quenches and plumps while keeping my skin break out free and moisturized.Overall I can’t recommend it enough. It’s fantastic; it is a complex and well formulated product available at a reasonable price that, for once, actually does what it says. No hype, no BS.
