[Product Question] how do you use cerave foaming and how much of it?

I know it agitates in water. So do I rub it in between wet hands so that it's all foamy and sudsy and then apply to my wet face? Or do I just rub it a bit and let it mainly foam on my face?Also, for those who use it, how much do you use ? A full single pump? Pea size?Thanks
