Beauty Tips For Body Care
The reason I'm posting this question here is because it seems like cellulite is more of a skin issue than a weight issue. I know that cellulite is natural for 90% of women and does not indicate that you are unhealthy or overweight. That being said, I really dislike being able to see the dimples in my legs. Most of my cellulite is on the backs of my thighs and above my knees but I also have some on my calves and butt. I can see it when I look down at my legs. Some of it is clear without pressing the skin but some spots only show cellulite when I'm sitting down a certain way. I've always had it to some extent but it seemed to increase since I've been on Spironolactone for my acne (originally 100mg, now reduced to 50mg/day). For reference I am a very petite person, 5'3", 115 pounds and eat moderately healthy and exercise occasionally. I could definitely be better in both of those areas although I would not consider myself an unhealthy person. Is this something I could possibly reduce or prevent from getting worse? I've heard that things like dry brushing improve the appearance of cellulite. My mom and sister do not have as much cellulite as I do so I'm not sure how much genetics are playing a role in it. The cellulite on my body is fairly minor and I can definitely live with it as it is but I would much rather be able to feel 100% confident in shorts. Any help or tips are appreciated, even if they are "get over it!" Thanks!
