Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hello all!I’m relatively new around here but I’ve been dealing with pretty bad acne and very oily skin since puberty (10+ years now). For some quick background, over this past summer I had one of the worst breakouts of my life (huge, very painful cysts like I’d never gotten before). That really led me to rethink everything I was doing (which, in retrospect, was real bad) and start over. I switched makeup removers, cleansers, and moisturizers and started curology (clindamycin had previously helped my acne but I’m a broke grad student who couldn’t offered it so curology was a great find). Things are certainly better now, but there’s room for improvement so I’ve been doing a lot of research and stalking posts on this page haha.Routine:AM: - CeraVe moisturizing face wash (I have the one for oily skin as well that I was using more in the summer before the weather got cold and dry) - stridex in the red box (this is a new intro, or I guess reintro because I’ve used salicylic acid products before, in an effort to prevent the smaller breakouts I’ve still been getting; right now I use it only every other day) - neutrogena hydro boost water gel - sunprise spf 50 - makeupPM - micellar water to remove makeup - cerave face wash (same as above) - curology (my mix is clindamycin, niacinamide, and zinc pyrithione) - neutrogena hydro boost gel creamThis has been my routine (minus the stridex) for about two months with moderate success. I was using some vit c serum but decided to stop while I introduce the stridex and wait a bit before reincorporating it. All that being said, the point of this post is that I bought the Radha rosehip oil and eventually (after waiting a while to get used to the stridex) would like to incorporate both it and the vit c back in to help with acne scarring and PIE. When I get around to it, where should these two things go in my routine, or are they somehow at odds with certain things already in my routine? Thanks a bunch!
