Beauty Tips For Body Care
I ask because mine doesn’t seem to be doing anything. I use Neutrogena’s ‘Rapid Clear’ which has one active ingredient of 2% Salicylic Acid. I usually apply it on my chin area, which tends to get flare ups of small whiteheads that turn to flat red spots before very s l o w l y fading away.I would think that the SA should be exfoliating the area, thus toning down the whiteheads and the red spots. But that’s not the case. My chin sees no mercy. Granted, this isn’t terrible acne. Just annoying spots that continue to pop up.So my question is, should I be looking into a different spot treatment? Are there ones that are known to be better? Benzoyl Peroxide is way too strong (dries out my skin) so I know that’s not what I need. Also I do use Glossier’s perfecting toner which has AHA/BHA so I would think this combined with another layer of SA should have some kind of visible effect, right? If you’re reading this and you love the SA product that you use, please kindly inform me!!!

[Sun Care][Product Question] HELP I can't get my sunscreen off!
Beauty Tips For Body Care
Please! So I bought the Australian Gold tinted mineral sunscreen spf 50, and I've been admiring it all day (hello narcissism). But the tint is JUST right, the finish a beautiful matte I've never before experienced, and its lasted all day continuing on in its perfection through a sweaty walk and a quick doze on the couch. Have I just found my holy grail sunscreen, could it be? Not so fast, its 2020 good things don't happen anymore.I start in on my PM routine and it won't come off! Its laughed in the face of both my oil cleansers and scoffed at my foaming CeraVe cleanser. WHY is it doing this, HOW did it get so thick? Its like I smeared beeswax on my face but its also tinted and getting tan marks on EVERYTHING! I've never experienced this before, its fused to my face, does it just live here now?The label says 'When using this product keep out of eyes. Rinse with water to remove.' What kind of water am I supposed to use?! Is this a curse, do I need holy water? Also maybe off topic but the back also says 'pediatrician tested' AND 'no animal testing' so when did we start testing things on babies because we're saving the bunnies? Anyways in this case I would throw the baby out with the bathwater because the baby is now coated in this sunscreen that won't come off!Looking for advice, or anyone who understand my pain (I won't hold a grudge you didn't properly warn me about this stuff). Also searching for any witches with experience breaking curses but I won't make any trades involving my first born you can only have the greasy bathwater baby.

[Skin Concerns] What is going on with my face?? (Pics in post)
Beauty Tips For Body Care
Here are 2 pictures of my face currently. Can somebody please tell me what in the world is going on with my face? This all began after I started using tretinoin prescribed to me by Curology. I haven’t used tret in over 2 months now, yet this condition refuses to go away.It doesn’t always look this red and raw. Most of the time the skin on my 2 cheeks and on my eyebrows are extremely dry, flaky, and peel/flake/slough off very easily.I only used tret sporadically when I was using it (maybe a few times a week), and made sure to apply sunscreen every day. Why is this happening to my skin? Is this some sort of skin condition? Will it ever go away? Should I go to a dermatologist? Any and all advice will be much welcome, thanks in advance!

[Sun Care] The products that helped me survive a (very) sunny tennis season
Beauty Tips For Body Care
So my tennis season is still going on, and as outdoor tennis is, it is very very sunny. Unfortunately, our local courts have little to no shade, and as a very sunburn, tan-prone person I find it pretty awesome I’ve been able to survive the first half of the season, on Differin with no painful peeling and same foundation tone!A little more about the sport, we practice from 3pm-5pm and games can last an hour longer. We are required to wear visors- not like they help much, their main purpose with protecting the eyes... so the lower face especially is completely exposes. We play every weekday and Saturday mornings. The UV index is typically 7 or 6 and on some days it can be on the lower end or near Ning the double digits, either way very sunny. First off, the products and things that did NOT work:Sunscreen alone: I always aid my sunscreen with some vitamin C and a little tone up for both cosmetic and practical purposes. I made the mistake to neglect both early in the season and had a very red lower face. Luckily the tingles subsided over the weekend.Eucerin Advanced Repair lotion: this does have some AHAs I believed so I got tingly after practice. I use another moisturizer without photosensitizing stuff in it.TO Vitamin C 23%: right now sun protection is the top priority, but this formula is... unbearable. No matter how I integrate it into my routine, it’s unbearably rough and gritty and greasy and makes my sunscreen pill like no tomorrow. And now, the stuff that DID work:Non-sunscreen: 1. TO Resveratrol and Ferulic Acid ($7.90/30mL): I use 3 drops before vitamin C and after my toner. I think it helps aid the vitamin C a little more at its job at preventing sunscreen. It does not have the best texture ever :( but it does help!Melano CC Essence ($9-10/20mL): HG vitamin C, was shown to be pretty effective in those Chinese Weibo experiments! Personally I think it’s a wonderful product and really helps the performance of my sunscreens.TO Vitamin C 30% ($6.80/30mL): I use this for any dark spots I might have because the product is a little hard to distribute equally. It is a little extra protection and quite affordable!Hada Labo Shirojyun Premium Lotion ($14/170mL): what I use, twice a day. It helps a lot in fading preexisting dark spots and fading whatever spots I might’ve not covered. GREAT toner.POWDER! I sweat, it’s inevitable. Powder helps tons with the shine! Mine are kind of advertised as sunscreen powders but I think sunscreen powder doesn’t really help much at all since I powder lightly, just to absorb extra shine. And now... The Sunscreens!!I have 3 different sunscreens I use and 2 tone-up/color correcting products I use on top. I use them according to the day’s weather. So in order of efficacy:The Face Shop Cotton Makeup Base (mint) SPF 30 PA++ ($4/40mL): I use this for less sunny days on top of sunscreen. I like to think it helps a little bit it’s mainly for cosmetic purposes.Kanebo ALLIE Extra UV Gel ($25/90g): This is a former HG of mine. I used to think it was my strongest, most bulletproof sunscreen. However my opinion has changed over the course of these weeks. I find that in comparison to my other 2 sunscreens it doesn’t protect as well and I especially get a little tingly and red around my eyes and chin which is not protected by the visor. Still a good sunscreen, definitely better than my regular sunscreens, but not the best performing (not to mention the price).Kose Suncut Tone-up UV Essence ($9.80/80mL): This is the color corrector I use on super sunny days. It has great filters and the color is very sheer so you kind of have to put on a lot to get the advertised tone up effect. I always use it in conjunction to another sunscreen and this adds a nice extra layer of protection.Kose Suncut Perfect UV Essence (gold tube) ($14/110g): TBH I don’t know what I was expecting when I ordered this but I was looking for something to replace my old Altruist SPF 50 which worked meh for me, but I think I found a new HG. It protects better than the ALLIE IMO and goes on smooth and light. Great for the price!finally.... ANESSA PERFECT SKINCARE UV MILK ($25/60mL, currently $22 on YesStyle I think...)! FYI this is the last version not the latest one. I know this is a widely loved sunscreen but I don’t think my skin could’ve gotten this far in the season without it. Goes on and sticks to the skin like it’s hanging on for its dear life. Exceptional protection- no burns or tans or anything, even when the UV index reaches 8 or crazy stuff. The bottle is small but dang it lasts long. Cannot stop recommending.I think all these products are great, but our season this year was delayed. Normally it starts mid August when the sun is super strong! So I can’t really attest to consistently 10+ uv index says. What helps you on super sunny days?

[acne] did I accidentally get rid of my chest and back acne ?
Beauty Tips For Body Care
Around 2 months ago I decided to start drinking green tea as I heard it’s ment to be good for the skin and also has many other health benefits. I was mainly looking for a difference to happen in my facial acne. It didn’t make a huge difference but I believe within the 2 months it has helped a bit. But other than that I was going in for a shower and I looked in the mirror and came to the realization my chest and back has no active breakouts (I usually had 20 - 40 spots on my back and also my chest, i was covered) i had this for at least 3 years and never really cared about it cause I don’t be going around with a T-shirt off. I noticed a clearance within 2 weeks of drinking green tea. Is this a coincidence or did it really help ??

[Skin Concern] A freaking BABY WIPE destroyed my face! HELP
Beauty Tips For Body Care
[34F] Acne has not been a concern of mine for a long time. For years I have had a strict regimen of high end and low end products that are mostly for anti-aging and brightening. Quarantine was AMAZING for my skin, I haven’t worn face makeup since March other than concealer for my dark circles.Saturday I took my daughter to the beach and wore the same sunscreen on my face that I’ve been using for over a year and the same body sunscreen I’ve been using close to 10 years.I brought a pack of unscented baby wipes to wipe our hands. After swimming in the ocean I stupidly decided to use one to wipe the sand and salt off my face before reapplying sunscreen. I should have know better. I should’ve used a clean towel and bottle water. The majority of my face and neck is now covered in deep cystic acne and I honestly don’t know what to do. I’m on my second application of Aztec clay since Sunday morning, trying to slowly unclog whatever is going on? I started crying this morning because it was SO bad and my husband (who never says ANYTHING negative about my appearance) commented on it.I feel like this is more of a reaction. I’m stumped. Help!

[Misc] Skincare website recommendations for third world and developing countries.
Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hey guys! Most people from third world countries like me struggle to find skincare products online at a fair price, that is why I thought we could make a thread about online legit websites that ship skincare products overseas at a fair price. I'm sure its very hard to find some skincare products, for example, I've been wanting to try The Ordinary products, which are pretty cheap in the US, but they don't ship to my country (Chile), so I've been trying to find them elsewere but the ones on Amazon and eBay don't seem like legit products and in Beauty Bay the shipping costs about $30 which kind of ruins it for me. Any recommendations are welcome! Could be to other countries too so someone else benefits aswell. PS. Please feel free to correct my grammar!

[Skin Concern] My skin on my back is itching horribly when it gets wet when I shower or when I sweat. I'm not sure what's going on. Does anyone else struggle with this or have any advice?
Beauty Tips For Body Care
About two months ago, I noticed that my skin on my back was starting to itch every time I showered. I usually take hot showers so I lowered the temperature and switched soaps. I also thought it might be an allergy to something coming into contact with my skin, so I've slowly ruled out my detergent, lotions, soaps, hair products, etc. The weird thing I have no rash, no bumps, nothing. It just intensely itches! It's starting to slowly get worse. It's starting to affect my legs and starting to itch when I'm not sweating or showering now. I've tried taking antihistamines and using calamine lotion but those only gave me very temporary help. Right now, I'm using coconut oil on my skin to see if that helps. I've stopped using soap on the areas that itch.I have a thyroid issue and had that checked this week but turns out that's fine. This is just affecting my everyday life. I can't work out, I can barely shower or do anything that causes my skin to get wet.Any advice is appreciated. I've never had this issue before. I usually have dry skin but I've religiously put lotion on my skin since I was a kid (I'm almost 30 now). Please help me 😭

[Routine Help] Just ordered Cos de BAHA Azelaic Acid 10%. Any success stories or recommendations on how to best use?
Beauty Tips For Body Care
I'm trying to get rid of some new but very deep red / purple acne marks. I'm also currently using 0.1 % tretinoin every other night, and plan to use it in the morning before moisturizer. Unfortunately the tret alone is causing more PIE than getting rid of it since I had to go through the purge first.

[Product Question] Eco-Friendly Snail Mucin Product?
Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hey all! I've been looking into snail mucin and it definitely looks like something I want to try because it has so many different types of benefits (moisturizing, anti-acne, repairing...). The problem is that right now I'm trying to shift my routine to mostly package free or refillable things, the exceptions being things I'm just using up and things that come in non-plastic packaging for which I couldn't find a lower waste alternative. Every snail product I've come across thus far comes in plastic and doesn't come from a brand that seems to put much thought into their environmental impact. I'm down to make a compromise and buy something in plastic packaging if the brand itself is trying to have a sustainable supply chain all around but of course something in non-plastic packaging would be better.Sorry if this is too much to ask for in a product haha, thanks so much in advance for any recommendations!!PS, this is my current routine:AM: rinse with water > Provence Beauty Vitamin C + Probiotic > Ethique Saving Face > Australian Gold SPF 50PM: Neutrogena Ultra Light Cleansing Oil > Ethique Bliss Bar > Eminence Acne Advanced Clarifying Hydrator OR Pixi Glow Tonic > The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 > Ethique Saving Face

[Acne] 4% Azelaic Acid vs 8% Azelaic Acid (closed comedones)
Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hi, I suffer from closed comedones on my forehead, cheeks, and chin.I've been using Curology for 6 weeks now and I haven't really seen a change with my closed comedones. That might be because in the first couple weeks I was bombarding my face with other products making me break out more. I first thought my acne was fungal but Nizoral didn't work and my closed comedones got worse. For the last two weeks I've cut down my routine down to Neutrogena's 2% Salicylic acid all-in-one acne cleanser and my Curology prescription (4% azelaic acid, 1% clindamycin, 0.25% zinc pyrithione). My prescription recently got upped to 8% azelaic acid and I was wondering how much more effective a 8% azelaic acid would be compared to 4% azelaic acid. Also, should I incorporate The Ordinary's glycolic acid in my routine. A lot of people in this subreddit had success with AHAs over BHAs, but my skin is dehydrated and my moisture barrier is ruined, so I'm not sure if I should add another active.I'm feeling so discouraged and it's ruining my confidence. Any help would be appreciated!

[Skin Concerns] last ditch efforts to heal compromised barrier?
Beauty Tips For Body Care
What to do when your skin is dehydrated (weirdly shiny, sensitive, crepey, waxy, bumpy texture) and NOTHING has worked??I’ve been dealing with this for over a year now. I’ve tried hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, glycerin, urea, oil cleansing, only cleansing once a day, no cleansing at all, slugging with Vaseline or Aquaphor, Krave’s GBR, LRP’s cicaplast baume, drinking way more water than I ever used to, just generally babying my skin.. and still I can barely stand to see my own face anymore.Right now, I’m using LRP’s hydrating cleanser once a day, the last bit of GBR I have and LRP’s double repair moisturizer. Can anyone recommend any other options for me to try, be it products or routine? I’m at a loss and feeling so discouraged.

[Product Question] I have VERY oily skin - Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion keeps me matte all day
Beauty Tips For Body Care
So I have very oily skin, and it’s rare that I find a moisturizer that doesn’t make me an oil slick within an hour. The only exception is the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream, but I didn’t want to keep buying it because it’s expensive for such a small quantity and I’m frugal af.So I got Aveeno’s Daily moisturizer and it keeps me matte literally all day, like Australian Gold level matte. And it’s dirt cheap and comes in a giant bottle. I just started using it and so I don’t know if it’ll break me out, but I hope it doesn’t, and I’m looking for a backup that may have the same effect. I was wondering what ingredient in it is keeping my face matte?Active Ingredient:Dimethicone 1.2% (skin protectant)Inactive Ingredients: Water, glycerin, distearyldimonium chloride, petrolatum, isopropyl palmitate, cetyl alcohol, avena sativa (oat) kernel flour, benzyl alcohol, sodium chloride

[Skin Concerns] Tips/Suggestions for hydrated skin in airconditioned room?
Beauty Tips For Body Care
My face is typically dry skin. Back in college, my routine only consisted of moisturizing (I use Garnier Whitening Serum Cream). Maybe because even though lecture halls are airconditioned, I spent only short period being in one, as classes only last about 2 hours and then I'd be out and about. So there wasn't any problem back then. Now that I've started working 9 to 5, I'm spending most days in an airconditioned office. And the aircond is centralized throughout the whole building. My routine now is to cleanse with Garnier Pinkish Glow Whip Foam and Garnier Essence Lotion, still moisturize with Garnier Whitening Serum Cream... but the issue now is that my face gets super oily even if I've only spent 2 hours inside the office. I've taken to use facial wipes to clean my face, and then tone it with Simple Toner... but the issue still persists. Sometimes even after wiping the oil off my face, few minutes after my face gets oily again...I've read somewhere (correct me if I'm wrong) that being in an airconditioned room, the moisture in your face would get sucked out hence your face tends to produce more "oil" to keep it hydrated... So I'm wondering if anyone got any tips/suggestions on which skincare products would be best to try and combat this issue? I've been using Garnier products because they suit my skin better. I live in a tropical country, so it's either dry, rainy, or humid. While I'm not in the office, the oil issue is not that serious. My only concern is being inside the office for at least 45 hours per week. :( Any feedback would be much appreciated!

[Research] Metal oxide sunscreens protect skin by absorption, not by reflection or scattering
Beauty Tips For Body Care
I always thought mineral filters are characteristically different from chemical filters in that the mineral filters reflect and scatter. However, according to this article a study was done to measure the absorption vs. reflection/scattering and it concluded the protection mechanism of mineral filters are through absorption. Mineral filters and chemical filters share the same protection mechanism.

[Sun Care] Sunscreen basics for winter?
Beauty Tips For Body Care
I recently got in to the skincare game. Regarding sun protection I've been basically using a moisturizer with SPF 15. Probably not really a useful product but I had it lying around at home. Now that I also use actives in my routine I want to take sun protection a little bit more serious with a good but not too fancy sunscreen. This sundance product got recommended a few times in this sub and looks great: https://www.dm.de/sundance-sonnenfluid-sensitiv-lsf-50-p4058172258831.html No alcohol, no fragrances and pretty cheap. Here in Germany we're starting to get less and less sun everyday. The UV index is never above 4 these days. So my question is if I really need a sunscreen with such a high SPF? Is a higher SPF always better or should I look for a product with maybe a little bit less protection? In winter when the UV index stays very low do I need sunscreen at all? I know it is officially not recommended and I have relatively dark skin, but I am using actives which make my skin more prone to sun damage.I mean it probably wouldn't be a bother at all to apply sunscreen in the morning as a part of my routine, so my last question is: Is it enough to apply the sunscreen once a day if I really don't need this amount of protection?Thank you very much!

[Sun care] Bioderma photoderm Max milk SPF50+
Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hey you guys, so today I’ve been researching sunscreens and their effectiveness.I use Uriage children milk SPF50+ and it’s been protecting me pretty will, but I want to invest in a higher PPD sunscreen since I live in the Middle East where the UV index is pretty high.Bioderma photoderm Max milk was tested and reviewed by Regard sur les cosmetiques, and the results were impressive they were exactly like what Bioderma claimed an SPF of 62 and a UVA of 46.I really want to try it now, but I’m afraid it’s going to leave a white cast due to Tinosorb M, but I saw some people on YouTube try it and it didn’t leave a white cast on them.I’m flitzpatrick 3 to flitzpatrick 2 Middle Eastern fair skin do you guys think it would leave white cast on me

[Hair Removal] Extreme irritation a week after sugaring
Beauty Tips For Body Care
I’m hoping this is the right sub! I’ve been getting Brazilian sugared consistently for about 4 months now. I’ve never had any issues with ingrowns or bumps or anything. This time around has been completely different. I got sugared a week and a half ago and today I woke up with bumps, ingrown hairs and small whiteheads all over my pubic bone area. My skin seems pretty irritated and tender to the touch. I exfoliate regularly with an area specific physical exfoliant to prevent ingrowns. I do have a small idea of what could have caused this. I wore lace underwear that I think may have caused all the irritation from maybe getting the new short growing hairs caught in the lace? I’m not entirely sure. I’m just looking for some advice on where to go next. I use a tea tree oil and water mixture just to disinfect but I need more to help with the irritation and bumps.

[REVIEW] I got rid of my milia (mostly)!
Beauty Tips For Body Care
I swear that I am not a shill nor in any way affiliated with this company, but after years of horrible, persistent milia all over my cheekbones, I found something that worked.I have tried extractions, rx Retin-A, PC bha9, allllll the exfoliating acids, microdermabrasion, and even once tried to burn them off using a thread burner (don't do that). As part of my milia journey, I had "milia scrubbies" from a company called Diva Stuff sitting in my Amazon "save for later" for YEARS. I never pulled the trigger on buying it because I was kinda wary of a company called Diva Stuff, lol. Well, I revisited the page a couple weeks ago and saw that it had a lot more reviews (mostly good), and ordered it and YOU GUYS. It works. My milia went from like 40 to 10 in the last two weeks, and I am confident that the rest will slough off with more use. I have even been able to catch a few as they're coming out and pulled those seed demons out myself! The "scrubbies" are 12 rough-textured exfoliating pads with a bunch of stuff like salicylic acid and pea protein on it. I have used most of the listed ingredients before with no luck so I am not sure how this works but it does. I cut the pads in quarters and get about four uses of of each little wedge, so its def budget-friendly IMO. Jar is $15.I am so happy and I hope this helps someone!

[Review]: Fresh Sugar Strawberry Exfoliating Face Wash
Beauty Tips For Body Care
https://preview.redd.it/cdgvv279p4q51.jpg?width=4990&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6beefb99980db5998b10e7688504c09f6c9a5532Fresh Sugar Strawberry Exfoliating Face WashPhysical exfoliation is a step in my routine that has been really hard to pin down. From super intense scrubs with nut shells to gommage style peeling products...finding something that is effective without being too intense is a real adventure.I tend to have a pretty heavy hand when it comes to massaging products in. And although I try to be aware and work on it...sugar is a nice option as it slowly dissolves as it's being massaged (making it pretty foolproof for this fool). When my favorite sugar scrub/mask from Skinfood was discontinued last year I was really bummed. Finding that coconut sugar dream was a surprise in that it was just the right amount of exfoliation mixed with a rather nourishing formulation. But, the team over at Beauty Within came through with their recommendation of the Fresh Sugar Strawberry Exfoliating Face Wash! This product acts very similar to my long lost love in that it applies with a slight thickness and weight. The amount of scrubbing action can be customized by applying more or less water to the skin before the scrub. After about 15-30 seconds of massaging the sugar breaks down into a wonderful sugary face wash...although there is no lather here (I found myself following this up with my regular water based cleanser). The result for me has been super smooth, soft, and resurfaced skin. The Fresh Sugar Strawberry Exfoliating Face Wash has helped to reduce some texture issues and seems to allow other products in my routine (toner/essence/serum) to absorb a bit more thoroughly.I’m so happy to have found this product and the strawberry/cream soda scent doesn't hurt either. This is one that I will be repurchasing and keeping in my routine for the foreseeable future.I can’t wait to try out the other offerings from Fresh. Let me know what some of your favorites are!Full Ingredients List: Glycerin, Sucrose, Butylene Glycol, Fragaria Vesca (Strawberry) Fruit Extract, PEG-6 Caprylic/Capric Glycerides, Ribes Nigrum (Black Currant) Fruit Extract, Zea Mays (Corn) Starch, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Fragaria Ananassa (Strawberry) Fruit Juice, Sapindus Mukorossi Peel Extract, Tocopherol, Parfum (Fragrance), Water, Carbomer, Sodium Hydroxide, BHT, Potassium Sorbate, Phenoxyethanol, Limonene, Citral, Benzyl Alcohol, LinaloolWhere To Buy ($33.00 USD - Sephora - 125ml): https://www.sephora.com/product/sugar-strawberry-exfoliating-face-wash-P445827?icid2=products%20grid:p445827&skuId=2223592https://preview.redd.it/fjp7pya5p4q51.jpg?width=5307&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=294c10bd4605c96bd8b8f226c2450c3e7c911289

[Review] Kravebeauty Great Barrier Relief, tested on Rosacea skin
Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hi all, I'm reviewing the highly raved Kravebeauty Great Barrier Relief (GBR). I've used it for more than a month now, and here are my thoughts.Product: Kravebeauty Great Barrier Relief Price/size: $44 (Singapore dollars) for 45mlI've been following Liah Yoo for a while, and out of all her products, I was really excited to try the GBR as there are countless good reviews on how this serum has helped many to hydrate, repair, soothe and glow. It's basically marketed as band aid in a bottle.Comes in a beautiful glass bottle which is aesthetically pleasing and feels very luxurious. Smells extremely nutty (and herbal?), but gradually got used to the smell. If you're someone who is sensitive to scents, think long and hard before taking the plunge as this is quite pricey. My skin is dehydrated with obvious pores on my forehead, inner cheeks and mid chin and my main aim was to increase hydration and improve pore appearance, which the serum's ingredients claim to help with. Other than that my skin is overall smooth with little to no zits. I'm adding this serum to a routine I've used for a very long time.My routine : Cleanse - GBR - Moisturiser - Sunscreen. Same at night without the sunscreen.First impressions: thick, rather gloopy, and not at all like a usual serum. Applies like a thin moisturiser. Sinks in after a while, left my skin slightly shiny but nothing I can't accept. Smell is strong and dissipates only after an hour or two. So far so good. One week of use: my skin feels tight. At first I thought it was the serum doing its thing and reversing ageing thus the tightness, but my skin got rather textured and dry on the surface, kind of like a sandpaper texture. I decided to continue using the serum and see if it improves. Two weeks of use: skin developed itching with the sandpaper texture, and I started breaking out in places I usually never ever break out at. Thought it was just my sensitive skin getting used to a new product so I decided to continue with it but only once at night rather than twice a day.In the third week of use, I suddenly developed a boil / cystic spot right smack in the middle of my right cheek. It got so swollen so quickly, and started oozing yellow liquid. This came as a shock to me as I've never ever in my life had a boil /cyst on my face before. I went to the doctor and they put me on oral and topical antibiotics to prevent scarring. I stopped the GBR and only used my usual skincare products. The boil was gone in a week luckily. I'm not sure if this was caused by GBR but it was the only new thing in my routine.By end of week four, my skin was back to normal, no zits no itching not much dryness and overall smooth again, so I decided to try the GBR again. After just one application at night, the reaction this time was fast - I woke up to itchy and sandpaper-like skin and broke out in itchy bumps.I conclude that I'm definitely allergic to something in this serum and will never use it again. If you have sensitive or reactive skin I'd caution you to patch test for a longer period before going in with a full face application.

PURITO - SPF and UVA protection [miscellaneous]
Beauty Tips For Body Care
I am trying to understand what is the deal with Purito and their sunscreens. They have two different sunscreensCentella Green Level Safe SunCentella Green Level Unscented SunAlthough they have the same two UV filters (one UVA filter and one UVB filter), the formulation is not the same. However, the company claims the exact same SPF and UVA PF results for both sunscreens: PPD of 22.59 and SPF of 84.5 (you can see the videos below). This is very strange as even if the exact same formulation is tested twice, we will not get the EXACT same results.Apart from the fact that they have used one set of results for both sunscreens, which is fairly suspicious, they have disclosed the percentage of UV filters used in their unscented formulation. According to their website: “The PURITO Centella Green Level Safe Sun contains 3% of Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate and 2% of Ethylhexyl Triazone.”This means that they claim an SPF of 84.5 just from 2% of a single UVB filter. Now in contrast to this sunscreen, we have the Invisible fluid (formerly known as the Shaka Fluid) from La Roche Posay. This sunscreen claims to feature a special technology to “gel and stabilize the droplets containing the filters, thus forming an extremely tight and protective structure”. With this technology on board, the company still uses a good amount of UV filters, namely Octisalate (5%), Uvinul T 150 (4.5%), Tinosorb S (4%), Avobenzone (3.5%), Mexoryl XL (2%), Mexoryl SX (0.495%).As in Europe any SPF above 60 can only be labelled SPF 50+, we can only learn more information about this product’s SPF from other countries. In Brazil, it is marketed as SPF 60 when they are able to market products with SPF 70 (https://www.laroche-posay.com.br/anthelios/hydraox-fluid-fps60). So I will assume it has an SPF of 60 - 70.So, La Roche Posay must use a special technology and 9.5% UVB filters and 6.495% of broad spectrum filters, i.e. a total of 16% of filters blocking UVB (8 times more filters) to get a lower SPF.Even the filter used by Purito at 2%, is used by La Roche Posay at 4.5%, i.e. more than double. Now for the UVA protection, La Roche Posay claim a PPD of 46 as opposed to 22.59, but still there, they use 10% of UVA filters as opposed to 3%. So, they are using more than 3 times the amount of filters to achieve double the PPD value. Is it possible that the formulation of the Purito is so special that they can use 8 times less filters to get a higher SPF???Centella Green Level Safe SunWater, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Dibutyl Adipate, Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, 1,2-Hexanediol, Niacinamide, Ethylhexyl Triazone, Polyglyceryl-3 Methylglucose Distearate, Silica, Cetearyl Olivate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Centella Asiatica Extract (4315 ppm), Hyaluronic Acid, Tocopherol, Sorbitan Olivate, Glycery l Stearate SE, Methyl Glucose Sesquistearate, Sorbitan Stearate, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Disodium EDTA, Adenosine, Anthemis Nobilis Flower Oil, Caprylyl Glycol, EthylhexylglycerinPPD = 22.59 and SPF = 84.5https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XZy0t_UCgNkCentella Green Level Unscented SunWater, Butylene Glycol, Butyloctyl Salicylate, Glycerin, Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene , Acrylates Copolymer, Silica , 1,2-Hexanediol, Niacinamide, Dibutyl Adipate, Ethylhexyl Triazone, Polyglyceryl-3 Methylglucose Distearate, Cetearyl Olivate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Sorbitan Olivate, Glyceryl Stearate, Methyl Glucose Sesquistearate, Sorbitan Stearate, Centella Asiatica Extract, Madecassoside, Asiaticoside, Madecassic Acid, Asiatic Acid, Pentaerythrityl Tetra-di-t-butyl Hydroxyhydrocinnamate, Disodium EDTA, Adenosine, Hyaluronic Acid, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, TocopherolPPD = 22.59 and SPF = 84.5https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jOQJzdQaiF4

[Product Question] Doctor Sam has a new sunscreen- 100% mineral - FLAWLESS GOSSAMER
Beauty Tips For Body Care
https://drsambunting.com/collections/shop/products/flawless-gossamer-tint-spf-50It's available in tinted and untinted. Uses nano zinc and titanium.I like Dr. Sam. But I really don't understand why she is so attached to older generation filters when she is in the UK and has access to the new gen European chemical ones. I do understand she caters to sensitive skin, but the newer Euro filters are good for sensitive skin so that shouldn't be such a concern. Imo she should have discontinued her old sunscreen (the one with octinoxate) and replaced it with this, and also created a 100% chemical one with new generation filters. The price is pretty outrageous. £33 for 50ml :/ but that seems to be par for the course with all of her products. What do you think?EDIT: according to Dr. Sam herself, the UVA is 25

[Acne] Just realised I've been popping Cystic Pimples all along
Beauty Tips For Body Care
A little background info: Apparently the inflamed, red, painful to the touch pimples that pop up whenever I get my period are cystic pimples and my dumbass only realised this after I got a little bit of scarring from the previous 2 cystic pimples I've popped. To be honest, at the back of my mind I knew they were cystic but I just assumed I could pop them like how I normally pop my small random pimples (yes, I am a serial popper...worse I use my FINGERS...). Now that I know more or less how to deal with cystic pimples after an hour's worth of researching on this sub, I have a few questionsI've gathered that warm compresses help coax the pimple to head aka the pus (white stuff??) shows up and ice compresses help with calming down the inflammation. However, I've read from a comment that ice compresses might do more harm than good? Is this true?I've read that Tea Tree oil helps too but what exactly does it do? And secondly, it has to be diluted, so how do you dilute tea tree oil? Moreover, do you apply the tea tree oil before the pimple comes to head and the pus shows up or can it be applied after it comes to head?I've read about popping the pimple with a sterilised needle and to be honest, I'm scared to do that. Is it okay to just slap on a hydrocolloid bandage and just let that do its work?Additionally, regarding the hydrocolloid bandage, I know it sucks out the pus out. So normally do you use one and then let the pimple heal on its own? Or do I have to put it on regularly until the pimple heals? After I have lanced the pimple and plastered on a hydrocolloid bandage, what are some things do you? Is there an aftercare routine you use in order to let the pimple heal without or minimal scarring?

[routine help] How do you wash your face? Not what do you wash it with, but how?
Beauty Tips For Body Care
Do you use a washcloth? If so, do you put the product directly onto your face or on the cloth first? Do you use a fresh washcloth EVERY time?Do you just use your hands and then cup water and splash it into your face? Is there any good way to do this without getting water all over the counter? Are there any other methods I'm not thinking of? Cotton pads and some kind of product that doesn't require water?Help me stop getting water all over everything.

Beauty Tips For Body Care
Protects further irritation against friction from masks, prevents me from squeezing my spots, sucks out some oil/pus and is anti-bacterial.Side-note: I realised that my skin gets less oily if I apply 2.5 benzoyl peroxide over my sunscreen/moisturiser to my otherwise super oily and acne prone skin.

WEEK 7 UDATE: Extractions. Just started using BHA Salicylic acid: Skin purging. [Review]
Beauty Tips For Body Care
The main news: Got extractions done my an aesthetician.I have some newfound wisdom after emerging from that experience that is relevant to starting BHA or any other type of chemical exfoliant that can trigger the purging process. For anyone who has been following along, hello again! For anyone new, I have been chronicling my experience beginning to use BHA Salicylic acid. If you weren't aware, chemical exfoliants can trigger a process of skin purging, where the cell turnover rate increases, pushing impurities out from deep within the skin over the course of roughly 8 weeks. The product is working if your purging happens to start working specifically on your problem areas (like mine did with the deep CC's on my chin. The rest of my face has been flourishing with no problems at all). You can find my first two accounts in the comments below, the second update includes my day and night routine.*Deep inhale* *Sigh*Its been a journey. My last update I was still deep in the purging phase. I decided that my next update would be after an extraction facial because I'm an impatient person lol.I've learned something. If you can, get an extraction facial for closed comedones BEFORE starting your exfoliant of choice. *I highly recommend it*. Especially if you have specific areas that are needing acute attention/ are not inflamed. You skin can build up right on the surface, so even if you're using your exfoliant that triggers turnover, you might have a buildup right on the surface of your skin that is thicker and takes time to subside. This can impede those stubborn CC's from exiting your skin drama free, and can create an inflamed and embedded situation. Painful emotionally and physically.Purging takes time for stubborn CC's. They're happy right where they are. They're ~home~. Kicking them out takes time.I estimate that my purge would have lasted about another 3 weeks (making it around 11 weeks of purging) if I did not opt for extractions. I fixate on this issue and its been hard not to pick. I have on several occasions actually, while lucidly knowing it was not a good idea, especially without much tactical prowess on extractions myself. My goal with this sort of journey was to be in the healing phase of this situation by week 9, and I'm on track for that, thankfully due to the push I got from extracting the CCs. Again, if I used just the BHA, I would have needed probably 3 more weeks than what I expected initially, my little problem area has been lurking for a while, pretending not to be there lol.Next, I will be focusing on healing my chin area from all its been through over the last 8 weeks as well as continuing to use BHA to regulate my skin cell turnover, thus (hopefully) preventing the same CCs from popping up in the future. The BHA has minimized the pores on the rest of my face, specifically around my forehead and nose, which has been nice.Talk to you guys in a week or 2 to let you know if I'm still on schedule with the healing & prevention phase.

[Sun care] How do you convince yourself to wear sunscreen?
Beauty Tips For Body Care
Can someone convince me to wear sunscreen everyday or tips on how you guys cope with it? I CAN’T get over how greasy it feels even if it’s supposedly “oil-free.” I love skincare, but anything I could feel on my face like makeup and sunscreen, I despise. I force myself to wear it out when I’m under the sun but I can’t bring myself to wear it when I’m wearing a hat or a mask.*I know it prevents wrinkles and sun damage, and Ik about UVA and UVB. I know a lot about sunscreen and the benefits. I know that the UK has superior UVA protection compared to the US. I just need major help to convince myself to wear it.

[skin concern] healing severely damaged skin from picking
Beauty Tips For Body Care
may be tmi, buti’ve been picking at my pubic region (bikini area) for as long as i can remember. i have struggled with skin picking my entire life but i started doing it in that area as well because it was hidden and i was so ashamed of my skin picking. now as you can imagine the skin is super effed up, tons of scars and super bumpy/uneven texture. it’s so embarrassing. i can’t afford to go to a dermatologist or anything or super expensive skin treatments but is there anything i can do to salvage it? i have vitamin e oil and that’s pretty much it, i’m new to actually taking care of my skin lol

[Review] Hada Labo Goku-jyun Oil Cleanser
Beauty Tips For Body Care
NOTE: I'm talking about the one with the green and yellow packaging, NOT the one with the white label on the front.WHY I BOUGHT ITThis is my first time trying an oil cleanser - I was reluctant to try one for a while because I don't wear makeup, so I thought it would just be a waste. However, I was really interested in the potential to unclog pores, which is what really attracted me to this. This oil cleanser is a cult favourite and it seems to be loved by so many people, as well as being fragrance-free and affordable.MY SKIN TYPE/CONCERNSI have pretty dry skin most of the time, which was dehydrated but since finding Curel Intensive Moisture Cream acts pretty normal most of the time, although I do have to be speedy about putting skincare on once I cleanse my face. I'm prone to clogged pores on my chin and nose as well as inflammatory acne on my chin, but this has all been massively improved by Paula's Choice 2% BHA Liquid. Fragrance and essential oils cause acne for me.HOW/WHERE I BOUGHT ITPurchased on Stylevana, you can see my full haul here for ~£12 for 200ml.HOW LONG I'VE BEEN USING IT FORI've been using this oil cleanser for 3 weeks exactly, once a day in the evening as a first cleanse.INGREDIENTS LISTEthylhexyl palmitate, triethylhexanoin, sorbes tetraisostearate-30, PEG-20 glyceryl triisostearate, olive fruit oil, water, sodium acetyl hyaluronate, hydroxypropyltrimonium hyaluronate, jojoba seed oil*, (palmitic acid / ethyl hexanoic acid), dextrin, butyl carbamate propionyl iodide, BHT*As you can see, it's a pretty basic ingredients list. Fragrance, essential oil and alcohol free, which is great if you're sensitive to any of those. The main oil here is olive fruit oil - not really much to say, it's quite nice and basic. There's also jojoba seed oil and two types of hyaluronic acid for some extra hydration, although this is a cleanser so there most likely won't be many hydrating benefits.SCENTNone at all, as you would expect. Does not smell like focaccia or pasta, unlike some other olive-oil based cleansers (according to what people say).TEXTURE + EMULSIFICATIONThis has a very light, fluid texture. The colour is a pale yellow, as you would expect. It spreads really easily over your face and I only need one pump, meaning that it will most likely last me ages. This cleanser emulsifies super super quickly, so whenever I wash my hands before cleansing I have to make sure they are fully dry, as any moisture on them starts to emulsify the cleanser. As it emulsifies so well, it rinses off super quickly.EFFECTS + CLEANSING POWERI don't wear makeup, nor do I have a Sunscreenr :( so I can't prove how well it removes thick sunscreen or heavy makeup. I have tried it with 3 layers of P20 Kids SPF50+ which it removed really well though. After cleansing my skin feels really soft, plump and hydrated, so I think it's pretty gentle. Due to the fluidity, you also don't have to tug or rub to remove it, which is great.I don't think it's massively improved my clogged pores but it's pretty hard to tell. I haven't broken out at all this month which is pretty amazing, so maybe it has done it's job. Equally, it could be that the BHA has finally fully cleared up my skin after 2-3 months.PACKAGINGThe packaging isn't cute or fun, but it is really functional. The pump is great - it dispenses the perfect amount of cleanser and it's very easy to use in the shower. The bottle is plastic so it's very shower-friendly and they also sell refills so you can save money and re-use your pump bottle.OVERALL THOUGHTSI love how it makes my skin feel so soft after cleansing, and it really does cut through layers of sunscreen. Coupled with the easy application, great price and quick emulsification it's a winner in my eyes! It may not be the most exciting cleanser, nor does it have the most fun, cute packaging, but it does what it was supposed to really well - I couldn't ask for more at the price point.9/10 - I recommend this product if you want an affordable, fragrance-free and very effective oil cleanser that emulsifies quickly. Definitely WRP, although I might branch out and try a cleansing balm. Does anyone have any fragrance-free suggestions?

TW// suicidal thoughtsHas anybody struggled with suicidal thoughts due to their skin? Most days I just sob and sob.I have congested skin and though so many say it isn’t bad or they can’t see it as bad as I say it is, it’s truly ruining my life.I have so much skincare because I buy and buy to try and solve this issue and I have no idea what to use anymore. At the moment I’m keeping it simple. Bioderma micellar, Avene cleansing foam, Avene thermal water, TO Hyaluronic acid and CeraVe moisturiser. Every other night I use a Dermaquest salicylic acid serum.Nothing has changed. I’m miserable and I hate looking in the mirror. I don’t know what to do anymore. I feel so weak crying over my skin but it’s truly destroying any confidence I ever had, which was very little anyway.

Anyone tried hyped up products? What do you think? [misc]
Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hey all! I wanted to see what you guys think of popular products you see everywhere — Instagram, YouTube, and even here. Things that are commonly referred to as holy grail products etc, have you tried them? And what are your opinions?I wanted to ask because I just tried the Laneige berry lip sleeping mask, and since it’s so damn popular I didn’t expect much except some overpriced lip jelly everyone finds fancy cause it has a teeny spatula but WOW! This is so nice for my lips. One of the only lip balms that stay on while I sleep and gives wonderful softness to them when I wake up. And you get quite a lot for your buck. Didn’t expect this at all!I wanna hear what you all think of all the popular products you’ve seen thus far :)

[miscellaneous] Can we talk about penetration enhancers?
Beauty Tips For Body Care
As I've been learning more about cosmetic chemistry, I've got interested in penetration enhancers and started to really look for them on ingredients list. Does anyone else do this?If you're not a huge cosmetic chemistry nerd like I am, penetration enhancers do what they say they do - they enhance the penetration of substances into the skin. Some of the more common ones: isopropyl myristate; dimethyl sulfone and dimethyl isosorbide; alcohols such as butylene glycol, ethoxydiglycol, and bisabolol; urea (in 5%+ concentrations); oils like jojoba oil, tea tree oil, and olive oil/other high oleic acid oils. I've done some reading about this on Google Scholar, but also find this thread illuminating.I've realised that Klairs Supple Preparation is basically unique in having dimethyl sulfone so high up the INCI. I always thought it was a bit expensive for a toner, but I'm reconsidering buying it now. I've also realised that The Ordinary includes penetration enhancers in quite a few of their products; there's dimethyl isosorbide and ethoxydiglycol in the Niacinamide and the Azelaic Acid, while the Granactive Retinoid in Squalane (both 2% and 5%) has dimethyl isosorbide, jojoba oil, and bisabolol. I've been using Geek & Gorgeous A-Game for a while and really like it, but now I'm considering switching over to TO. If it ever comes back into stock, that is.

[misc] help me understand why leaving sunscreen or makeup on your face overnight is bad, but leaving mositirizures and other skin care products is good? Wouldn't they all be similarly clogging/suffocating to your skin?
Beauty Tips For Body Care
For real. Why do we remove makeup and sunscreen only to slather another occlusive cream all over our faces?I get that some ingredients may be especially clogging or irritating to leave on (I.e. chemical sunscreen filters, red pigments, etc), but for the most part many moisturizers contain silicones and other occlusives that are also found in foundations and sunscreens, so are they really desirable to have sitting on your skin 24/7?I just started skincare from basically a caveman routine and feel like my face never gets to breathe now. I never really had skin issues before, but have been breaking out in blackheads and ccs now, annectdotally, which led me to this question.Thoughts ?

[Misc] Cassandra Bankson Illegitimate? Untrustworthy?
Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hi guys, I don't know but recently I've felt peeved by a lot of YouTube skincare "experts" like hyram and such so I feel like I've become almost unjustly hyper critical of these influencers. One that kindve rubs me the wrong way is Cassandra. In particular I noticed how in her videos from the last 6 months to a year she has started prefacing videos calling herself a medical estheticIan with 10 years in the industry working alongside with dermatologists and etc. This seems HIGHLY suspect after I started to dig deep into her channel. Before this year she did not mention ever being an estheticIan (that I could find), several videos from 2-3 years ago mention some sort of school, so my sneaking suspicion is that she went to esthetics school probably last year as a bump to her youtube channel. Is there anyway we can check her license somehow? I know for doctors you can just look them up and see theyre certified with the state to practice medicine. Dunno if it's the same with estheticIans too.My problem is that she makes it seem to the audience disingenuinely that she's been a practicing estheticIan for 10 years. No. From what I can gather is that she's done modeling (in and around the skincare industry SORT OF) and YouTube as her career so far. This sucks if true, bc it's not the school that truly makes an estheticIan a professional or trusted, it's the experience they gain from actually WORKING on tons of different people's skin every day. 4-8 months of school is not what I'd call an expert. An estheticIan w no experience shouldn't really be presenting themselves as some sort of expert. And before this year she seemed to primarily focus on lifestyle, diet, misc.,makeup, and her journey with extreme acne. I dunno guys, is there anything out there where she talks about estheticIan school, being an estheticIan, giving peels/facials to people. Bc you would THINK she would talk about any of the things that estheticIans usually do on her channel but I can't find virtually anything on performing treatments on people. All I could find is her going to a dermatology conference one year and interviewing people and another video where she interviews an estheticIan 2-3 years ago about whether you should see a dermatologist or esthetician. But in that video Cassandra very obviously is NOT an estheticIan, asks a lot of questions she should already know as an estheticIan and frames the whole interview as if she's just a patient dealing with acne who has trouble going to derms. And then there is a video from 8 years ago where she refers to estheticIans as "beauticians" which no one who actually worked as an estheticIan would ever say. Which leads me to believe that her estheticIan title is either a complete lie, she went to school just recently for added "legitimacy" to her channel, or she really has been an estheticIan for many many years but for some reason anything past a year ago has ZERO substantiation fo that fact. Her Wikipedia page has no mention of her being an estheticIan, she is famous for being a model for pretty much the first decade of her adult life then being a youtuber. Where does practicing estheticIan fit into that? This all came up for me recently, as I just made the decision to goto esthetics school soon to get a estheticIan license and laser certification. Hopefully will become a registered nurse in a few years and be able to perform botox and filler injections to further my career. So I went to check out probably the MOST POPULAR "ESTHETICIAN" on YouTube for advice about school, the career path, what it's like, and she has virtually nothing on it. Not even virtually, literally nothing besides blurbs at the beginning of videos now.Done. Sorry for the rant. Getting a bit too worked up over skincare influencers, GEEZ. I dunno, from Dr. Vanita Rattan not being an actual dermatologist, to all the drama with hyram, to non skincare influencers like Dr. Berg being a doctor of chiropracty, but talks all about diet as if he's a full doctor, I am just fed up.

[Misc] Absolutely no hate intended but I think it’s funny when people ask me what skincare products I use and I answer, they would say “I’ve heard of them! You found out about them from TikTok right?” when this subreddit had already taught me about them years ago

And the “you learned that from Hyram!” no dear, I learned it from Dr Dray 😂

[Misc] I’m so sick of my mom telling me that my skincare routine is CAUSING my skin issues, not helping them. She’s never had an interest in skincare and yet she thinks she knows better than me, a skincare junkie!
Beauty Tips For Body Care
Is anybody else struggling with having a family member/partner/friend who just isn’t interested in skincare keep lecturing you about why you shouldn’t use skincare?I love skincare a lot, and it’s genuinely a form of therapy to me. I look forward to doing it everyday and I have to really stop myself from going overboard.I developed a more simplistic routine after contracting dermatitis due to the Ole Henriksen Truth Serum almost a year ago (wayyy too much fragrance, I think). Now I just cleanse (once in the morning, twice at night), use a serum and use a moisturizer. Every few days, I’ll add a treatment like an acid for exfoliation, or a clay mask, or a drop of Rosehip oil in the morning. The simplistic, fragrance-free skincare routine really helped with my dermatitis, along with a prescription cream, and my skin looks very pretty now! However, my dermatitis sometimes pops up out of nowhere and lately it’s been all up in my hairline - a place where I obviously never apply skincare. It’s more likely to be my shampoo or something. But every couple of weeks for about a YEAR now, my mom will say“PLEASE stop using these chemicals on your face, they will cause your issues. All I did was wash my face with warm water and sometimes apply cream for 60 years and I have good skin’ (and she does, albeit with sunspots due to damage).I don’t think she realises how much I cherish my routine and honestly, her telling me every few months that everything I’ve learned about online, from articles by dermatologists etc is “not true” and all the chemicals are “causing my skin issues” is driving me nuts!I have pretty good skin, with not many pimples typically and it is plump. My mom seems to insist my skin is this way despite the products I use, not because of them, and thinks I’m being silly when I say my skin feels dry and pimply when I miss out on my routine (because of being ill etc).I’m no expert but, I love looking up and learning about skincare. And I also love and cherish my mom, who is a very smart woman and whom I agree with about almost everything. So hearing her constantly say“The first thing a dermatologist will tell you is to stop using all that crap on your face”is kind of infuriating! She thinks I’m defensive because I just want to be rude to her but in reality, I can’t imagine my life without a skincare routine now and I feel so dismissed when she tells me these things!is driving me insane!! Who can relate?
